Haint blue isn’t done to keep the birds and bugs out.
I love everything about this home with an exception of one minor thing. I would need a gas range. Glass-top induction doesn’t do it for me. It’s just my preference. Otherwise the home is gorgeous.
The "iron pieces" on the bottom if your shutters are called shutter dogs.

Glad Cole works for you, she is very talented person. The house has come a long way from the pictures at the begin, great job. Just found your channel while looking for ideas while we are redoing our kitchen. This is the first kitchen I found that came close to what I have in mind. But I never heard about your lovely wood countertops, which is what we are thinking of doing. Couldn’t tell if they were Cherry or what type of wood. Any chance you would know?

random question. I doubt you know him, but my husband’s fraternity brother was from Murfreesboro his name was John Dixon. Anyway, it made me think of him in this episode of your channel.

Paint colors? Like everyone else, I Ioved the house and appreciated the labor expended on it. Thanks to this video, I now have a better idea about redoing two round glass sconces I have had for decades after seeing the French-inspired look of Cole’s in her living room.
Unless this has already been asked and I missed seeing her reply, would Cole we so kind as to share her paint colors (at least those in the living and dining room, on the front door, the kitchen walls and cabinets, and the soothing color in the small bathroom). The kitchen cabinet chalk paint brand & color we’re identified in the video, but it would be exceedingly helpful to know the actual paint selections for those of us who struggle, repeatedly, with neutral shades that work well together and make for a pleasing, coherent look as one moves from room to room.
