Use decorators caulking to fill the gaps, it’s fast drying & can be painted on no problem

The size is wrong i cant cut a paper 4.4" and 5.8" paper if 4 side are 4.4" then it is impossible to make 5.8" in the middle

If you first mark on the cardboard the stencil lines can overlap the diamond shape and then you won’t have as much cardboard waste. except in the cereal box, which must respect the existing folds. second the minimum shape you are looking for is that of a triangle placed up or down and from there you can start assembling the rows that moving the design would form the hexagon

You’ve given me a great idea for wall art.
You could fill sin the gaps with hot glue and then when your whole piece is finished. Spray paint the whole thing to evento the colors

I personally would make such decor on manageable-size sections that could be assembled into a large piece if needed or used in smaller spaces. I would also cover the 3d surface (prior to finish layer of paint) with cheapest mod podged napkins.

Can you please do a textured wall design for my fireplace I love the large round mirror I have on it but it’s missing something, I was thinking maybe a textured finish and then paint it, so you have any ideas ???
Pro tip:
To get rid of any small gaps, use a bit of caulk along the seems, and wipe excess with finger. Then you can paint it any color once dried.
Extremely interesting! But i would cover the 3d surface with mod podge/cheapest kitchen napkins/mod podge and then would paint/dry paint to highlight tissue texture.
