Here exactly a year later redoing my room!!!!
All of these are cool for a senior in high school or even a
college freshman. Good ideas overall. What about using pretty boxes or cover plain boxes instead of books, since they look like presents anyway. The finish isn’t smooth enough on the book spine because of the paint on the paper, but should finish nicer on a harder surface.

TIP FOR THE FIRST DIY: i would blu-tac the battery box in the back cos that way it is easier to replace the batteries – instead of taking the whole thing down you just reach around to pull the box out to the front ๐
Can I ask you a question why do you paint something white if it’s already white? And not everybody has the things you have to cut wood

Just discovered your channel and subscribed! Your DIYs are cute, practical and simple to make, which in my book is a winner haha. Also I was curious: did the marbling of the mousepad make it less functional? I really love the idea, but I don’t want to make something if ends up being less practical. I would marble something else instead lol
