DIY DOLLAR TREE Wayfair Inspired Wall Decor | Real Wood | Wrought Iron Look | High End Home Decor!

DIY DOLLAR TREE Wayfair Inspired Wall Decor | Real Wood | Wrought Iron Look | High End Home Decor!

Hello CraftDee Family! For today’s DIY project we will be creating a look for less using Dollar Tree supplies and other supplies a dollar or less! I have chosen to make a set of these beautiful wood and Iron gate style wall décor pieces from Wayfair, and I will be recreating these by adding my own special touches and using items from the Dollar Tree and wood that is less than a dollar. For your convenience, I have provided the complete list of the supplies and tools used to make these projects below.

Note: I misspoke in the tutorial to adhere the outer wood frame using hot glue, but I demonstrate using wood glue. Please use wood glue for the frame as shown 🙂

The finished size is 28″H x 16″W

This is about the 5th time I’ve watched this video. It just amazes me every time. It’s one of the first videos that got me into the world of YouTube craft videos. I own a roll of Rain Bird irrigation tubing because I have watched all your videos and the one where you used that tubing to create another beautiful faux window frame made me want to do one too! I love the style of your videos as well as all the truly amazing creations you come up with. So thank you!! Great work!

I showed this to my hubby.. He was saying " that’s dog gone good" From him, that’s a huge compliment. I have a French country family room. I will be hanging this on the great wall. And I’m hanging some sheers over it. I may even hang my framed poster of a Monet from another room under them. To make a faux window, looking out at a huge field of flowers. I can see it in my mines eye. It will be stunning

  28. Dora Fonseca-Blount on July 12, 2021 at 3:14 am

    It’s such a great idea!

  29. Pollita Becca on July 12, 2021 at 3:14 am

Love the bottle cap hardware! Reminded me of a Star Trek exhibit at the Air & Space Museum. All the props and weapons were foam core. Awesome!

  30. Cindy B on July 12, 2021 at 3:15 am

What?? These look so high end and no one would think they are made with Dollar Tree items. Question: You said you used hot glue to glue the wood pieces together but did you use wood glue? Great job.

  31. Wanda Williams on July 12, 2021 at 3:15 am

OMG!!!!! Young lady. Congratulations early. If you’re not at a 100,000 subscribers soon, I won’t be able to know why. Ingenious!!! .I’m watching this over and over again. Awesome video as usual. VERY Much Respect FAM. Peace always

  32. Erin Dennis on July 12, 2021 at 3:16 am

Absolutely love it! I would probably hang on the wall one on each side of a bed!

  33. Jax 248 on July 12, 2021 at 3:22 am

Nicely done.. ❤ Just a tip…If you take the dollar tree spackling and fill the back of the gareden trellis, you can also build up the areas where you cut it by making the "wrought iron" appear thicker and aged.

  34. MaryLou Brown on July 12, 2021 at 3:22 am

    Absolutely love it!

  35. Jazzy Kathy on July 12, 2021 at 3:22 am

Wow why did those corners look like leggos to me

  36. TheKrazysinner on July 12, 2021 at 3:23 am

for me I think Id buy more than one fence piece just so I could cut out very round pieces instead of cutting down the center which cuts part of the curve off. but that is just personal preference

  37. barbara west on July 12, 2021 at 3:24 am

I went to get the fence at the dollar tree. They didn’t have any. I just love your projects…

You could make the rubber curves equally thick by putting on hot glue n then paint it…..just a thought
