I already have the painted jars that hold my utensils, and I also have a collection of rolling pins that belonged to my Mom, hidden away in a drawer not being used.I know she wouldn’t mind if I painted one, so that will be next! So cute!

I have all my jars these exact colors already, they are my three base decor colors. Family dollar has these cute baskets and buckets in these colors.

  21. Senya Gwynn on October 27, 2021 at 9:25 am

I just made jars for my kitchen too. I used the large wide mouth mason jars!! Tfs❤ I love all of these DIYs!! I had that same rolling pin years ago but got rid of it because it wasn’t wide enough for my hands not to get in my dough, I bought just a long same size rolling pin like DT sells now!! I so could of made your decorative rolling pin!! Bummer!! 😂🤗❤

  22. Barbara Hill on October 27, 2021 at 9:27 am

I love the three jars but all were awesome

  23. Deborah Bishop on October 27, 2021 at 9:29 am

What are the three colors of chalk paint that you used to paint the jars?

  24. Renee Paiz on October 27, 2021 at 9:30 am

    Love the jars..

  25. Denise Pope on October 27, 2021 at 9:30 am

Question??: Since this chalk paint can come of with water, shouldn’t a clear coat be put over it with anything used in the kitchen? Do to the risk of eating it?

  26. Lilly G on October 27, 2021 at 9:31 am

    I loove this😍

Love all of your projects and videos. I do have a question though. Who is this song by that plays while you’re painting the rolling pin?

  33. Valarie Priest on October 27, 2021 at 9:45 am

Hi! I love your videos!! They’re all so amazing, fun to watch and try! I just completed today, your mason jars and coordinating salt/pepper shakers. OMG they’re adorable in my kitchen! FYI on spray sealant suggestion. Yes! I highly recommend it (I used Rust-Oleum clear matte). If you put the jar under water with no sealant, the Waverly chalk paint comes right off. I actually painted an entire jar last night, 2 coats, and this morning realized I didn’t like the color. No problem, put the jar under water then over the trash can I wiped the paint clean off. So once you have the jars how you want, color and scuffed up, apply a sealant. I also mod podged the S and P before gluing them to shakers so if I wipe them off, hopefully the color won’t get messed up.

  34. Maggie Pena on October 27, 2021 at 9:46 am

Just and idea 💡. How about glue the ribbons and letters in place and at the ends put a little piece of velcro so you can remove it to wash and put back.
