Do you sell your signs? And just curious, why don’t you put the staples on the frame facing the back?
also.. What size to I need to make my stencil?
Hello where did you get the font and what’s the name please?
Do you add anything for them to hang?
Is the chalk paint you use to do the lettering waterproof? Like if you sold this sign how would you be sure it’s durable? Do you polycrylic it?
Why didn’t you use grey vinyl ?
Love that you are using the contact paper (even from the dollar store), to make a stencil. I really like the way these signs turned out. Thanks for sharing. I see someone asked why you didn’t use grey vinyl, but I like the painted effect (of course you can use vinyl). I guess it all depends on the look you want to achieve. In your case – beautiful!
What size board is that, that you used?
At 6:46, could tell me what kind of staple gun you use? I have an electric staple gun that isn’t shooting staples thru my 1x2s 😔
I love your videos! I have been binge watching for hours!
You said that you had used contact paper for this.. So I shouldnt use vinyl? Im a beginner so i want to be sure on what I can and cannot use 🙂
thank you
What would you suggest if there is sticky residue left behind from your contact paper?
Hi Christy, I have a question regarding the dollar store shelf and drawer liners that you are using as your vinyl/stencil. Do you run into any issues with it leaving any residue or tackiness on your sign? I have used it on several signs and it seems to leave a light coating on them. Any recommendations? I have used the same process for tumblers and have run into the same issue.
Thanks in advance!
You look so much like Mariah Carey when she was younger lol. 😀
I’m pretty sure you can still buy plans with all the details you need on Woodglut.
Love your tutorial. It’s short and to the point. I am going to start a 24” x 48” wall sign today for my living room. I feel very confident that it will turn out great because of you.
You are the real deal. Making these from scratch. Wow! Impressive and beautiful.
Two things I would do differently. I would staple the frames on the back side and if, after you apply your stencil you roll on your background color first and let it dry, then paint over your stencil with your grey, you won’t have "fuzzy edges".
👍🌹
Beautiful job! I love it
Thank you very much!!
Great video, thank you. One question – at 5:22 in the close-up view the edges don’t look clean – is this typical with this machine and materials? Any way to improve it? I see that you are using a brush with white paint for touch up, but do you have to do that to every edge to get clean lines? TYIA
What would did you use for the framing of the signs? Also, why staples and not a brad nailer? Love the tutorial!!
Loved the video but What angle is your miter cut?
My type of projects!!
These came out so beautiful. I too am making signs for my entryway. My question is when to use as a stencil and when to use vinyl tape on it. I have seen signs made both ways. I would like to know why one choses one over the other, Thwnk you!
Nice
I don’t know why people have to show others how to paint, what a waste of my time.
Love ur signs! Just wondering what font u used for the Blessed sign & did u use font cloud or word map to get the curly’s at the end of the B & D😉?
Looks like oak plywood
Where do you order the peak and stick? Wonderful work!!
Love your Signs. I Subscribe to your videos. May I ask wh as t kind of wood do u use for the frame n the sign made from?
Hello! I love your boards. Your items are beautiful. What type of font did you use? Have a great day!
Christy do you always sand your luan before you paint it? I’m having trouble getting my contact paper to stick
Hello Christy I have a few questions 1 which of those 2 catting machines are you using or you need two of them ? 2 what program do you need to make the designs ? ,did you also have to buy the fronts letters? and what are the the exact size of the vinyl that we need or you just cut them as you need i love your video thanks in advance !
you make this all look soo easy! Very Beautiful!
Beautiful. Can u Plse share the background color u used to paint the wood?
What printer are you using and material?
Can you tell me what fonts you use? I love the curls at the end and beginning of the words.

These look so good! I just started getting into more DIY Farmhouse Decor. Never realized how bad I needed me a stencil printer lol
I absolutely love your videos! So i was wondering what tool you used to line up your boards before stapling them together? This is probably the dumbest question lol but i have the hardest time lining my frame and that would be a life saver!
Would you be able to tell me what material you are putting the stencil that you painted white on? Like what kind of wood?
These are so annoying! I don’t know how this trend started, but it needs to go away lol
"You will forever be my always"? Lol what??😂
Hi love your signs what fonts do you use? Especially the forever and always sign ☺️
Contact paper! That’s genius for stensils, need to try that
Hello. I just saw your video from 2019. AWESOME, BEAUTIFUL, AMAZING WORK! You are very talented. My comments are generated by reading your replies to EACH one that complimented you on your work or asked questions. I have never seen that done before! It is very noble of you to take the time to share of yourself and explain in detail (often the same questions) to assist others. What a great heart! God bless you my dear…continue to share YOU and blessings will overtake you. Take care!
Very beautiful … looks like a lot of work but it’s worth it
Hey Christy, I absolutely love how you designed and crafted the frames. I like to put the staples on the back of the frame instead of the front. I think it gives it a more finished look.
Do you ever make custom signs for people? Like an Etsy?
Very nice! Do you have a site where you sell your signs? What is the staple gun that you use? That’s seems to be a lot of thickness to get through. Thanks!
