BEAUTIFUL JOB
Why not use the remnants of the 1/3 board for the 2/3 needed board.
looks like perfectly good floor boards underneath

10 minutes in – simply wack huge screws into your floor without checking for cables and remove your old floor first . Jeeez
Why do miter cuts scare me so much
Dremel worked great for ripping, an awesome channel! keep going!
Hello nice job
Can you put your trim after? Or should you do trim first then floor?
shouldn,t the new vinyl flooring be laid in the opposite direction of the timber floor beneath for better stability ?
Everything is great as always except you should of showed people how to measure and plan to not use those little pieces on the end .
Been installing laminate…since the first ‘glued’ edition!! Good tips ALWAYS help…!!
THANKS FOR SHARING. I LEARNED A LOT. GOING TO TRY IT MYSELF
Hi, love your content. Already renovated my bathroom with the help of your videos now I’m wanting to put bamboo flooring i have available on top of my mosaic floor in the kitchen. I’m planning to leave the cabinets be. Do you suggest I use tile over tile primer and self leveling compound before putting the bamboo down?
Don’t you take the baseboard off before installing?
Second time I watch this video and going for a third. I don’t feel the need to watch others. 👏👏👏 well done man. Thank you. Keep them coming.
Thanks a lot! This is dope, bro!
That small piece on the second row doesn’t lock to the other piece since it was cut off.
So do you recommend installing width or length wise towards the entry door?
what tools do we need to use for vinyl installation ?
What type of vinyl should I use it is good for health ?
Thank you
What do I do if my floors are bowed and I want to install over current hardwood floors? Can I use premium shims to drill into my floors and get them level?
I have a 16 gauge brad nailer , would it work on the moldings. Most use a 18 gauge nailer ,that’s why I ask. Thanks
A technique I’ve found to work really well for trimming door casing is to use an angle grinder and a tile cutting wheel. Take the guard off and hover the spindle directly on the floor and it gives you a quick, clean and easy cut.
Is there a reason you are not using flooring tools?
Can you take 5he baseboards off to make it look better???
Hi, amazing video as always. I have a quick question, how can I justify spending money on all those equipments? They seem expensive. When it’s all said and done, wouldn’t be better to just hire someone to do the floor? Because the cost of the equipment alone might outweigh the cost of installation. Love to hear your feedback.
Them shorter and longer pieces on the baseboard confuse me.
For bottom of a 1 3/8 " masonite door that no longer has a bottom rail rip a a piece of wood to 1 1/8" thick and glue it into the bottom of the door. A 2×2 works a 2 x 4 is better.
Wrong you always start in the door so it can have a full pice wy because you always want the small piece’s in the back of the wall because if not it will look ugly it will look like a sore thumb
So I never did hear what kind of underlayment for concrete slab but ove tile in 1 room n over old wood floor in another. I did however cancel an appt with 1 store n set up another based on the recs from this video. Please tell me which underlayment to use? ? ??
I need to replace parts of carpet with wood, how should we cut carpet put borders on it and replace it with wood
Thank you for sharing. BTW what’s the name of this paint colour?
How do you cut the ceramic floor tiles that look like wood? Can I lay them over existing tile?
Love how easy you made that look. Hate the door. So cheap. I like solid wood doors.
I love how you get straight to the point and very detailed. You dont spend 10 mins promoting sponsors, talking about blah blah blah and trying to gain subscribers. 46:26 mins of pure helpful knowledge. Thanks man. And I subscribed ☺.
First, Thank you very much for all these priceless channel. Second, can I Put Vinyl Flooring Over Kitchen Tile?
I did laminate in my first home, but the humidity of being without electricity for two weeks after hurricane Rita ruined it. My current home had laminate, but after a month of no electricity in the summer after hurricane Laura,it got ruined. So I’m a luxury vinyl guy now. It was sooo much easier to install.
Giving this a try in my hallway soon. Looks easy enough! Any tips for transitioning flooring around a 90 degree corner?
have a question we took tile flooring out of our basement and we are putting vinyl flooring in can you glue it because it doing a floating help
Why would anyone want this on their floor over tile ? It looks like cardboard.
This is my LVP go to.
Always watch a perfectionist (Jeff) to really understand the reality of the project.
What were the three size cuts you made?
When you started the flooring, I didn’t see you put a 1/4" gap on the side of the boars only on the end of the boards.
When you made the last cut that you filmed, you let your fingers get dangerously close to the blade of the table saw, my dad and/or shop teacher would have been jumping up and down yelling at that point !
You didn’t show how to do a door jam when the door is perpendicular to the length of the board ? Should you cut the ends of square and place a piece of flooring sideways to give the threshold something to clip into ?
Besides all that, I enjoy learning from your videos.
Thanks
Jeff, in the video you say that you don’t need underlay because the laminate piece already has an attached pad, but in another video you say to buy under padding even if it has padding attached. I’m confused
am handyman to in australia i love your job , thanks mate
Great video!
comprehensive, thank you!
Thank you very much. Good advice. Starting a 1200 ft square project in basement as a 1st time rookie.
