How do you close the door – like doesnโ€™t the extra flooring on top make it too high for the door to close?

  2. valar morghulis on December 18, 2020 at 1:47 am

How much did the entire project cost ?

  3. Kay on December 18, 2020 at 1:51 am

I want to know if you tried pulling that carpet tape up off of the carpet and seeing if it came up without damaging the existing carpet. Would hate to remove it on move out day and lose the deposit over some ugly ahh carpet

Do you think you can do this with carpet tiles over your old carpet? Would the white board you use in between work well?

  10. Ginger Schneider on December 18, 2020 at 1:57 am

Girl, if you gonna post a video get it right. Thats not marble. Thats cheap azz vinyl.

  14. Adrienne McClain on December 18, 2020 at 2:02 am

Hey! Don’t worry about the nails! Lol Better to do your DIY before you get them done so you don’t have to do them again if you mess them up!

  15. PATS2CENTS on December 18, 2020 at 2:02 am

  17. Krissi Kiss on December 18, 2020 at 2:05 am

Sis. You donโ€™t even know how much you have just changed the game for me. Iโ€™m moving into my first apartment next week and everything is perfect except for that ratchet carpet … THANK YOU SO MUCH because I will be using this strategy to cover that old raggedy carpet !! ๐Ÿ’•

  28. MrOramato on December 18, 2020 at 2:14 am

You could cut the radius on poster board and use that to trace on the vinyl.

  29. Shavonne Stone on December 18, 2020 at 2:15 am

Did it ever try to lift at the seams when putting furniture in there? I worry if I put a chair on, it’s finna split the tile when its sat in…if i do this on top of shag carpet at least right?

  31. Latesha Johnson on December 18, 2020 at 2:16 am

oh my goodness. thank you so much. you make it look so easy especially with that white poster board. i’m going to do that to my dining room. I hate wall to wall carpet, especially when i have the barber coming to cut my grandbabies hair and potluck. thank you thank you thank you.

  40. On My Own Terms on December 18, 2020 at 2:27 am

Is there a reason to lay tile over carpet, rather than just pulling it up before laying tile?

  41. janelle ali on December 18, 2020 at 2:33 am

Shout out to you .Youโ€™ve done a good job. At first I was gonna hit the dislike button because I wasnโ€™t feeling the whole idea of covering up carpet and placing adhesive tiles to cover the carpet. Thought to myself why not pull up the carpet and then I remembered that this is a rental. Nicely done with improving your living space. Plus you did this with no help!

  42. Sabrina Jay on December 18, 2020 at 2:34 am

Girl u can NOT do this and solve my problems and not give us a update like this

  43. Stella Busse on December 18, 2020 at 2:35 am

Hey love, how many square ft is your room? And how much total were the supplies etc! Can you post an update ๐Ÿ’• also when you had to rip it to start over how was the carpet underneath? Any chance of damage?

  48. MrOramato on December 18, 2020 at 2:40 am

I would have negotiated with the landlord to just remove the varpet and instal the vinyl with adhesive to leave behind. Win Win.

  49. Sk8Mamii Brettany on December 18, 2020 at 2:43 am

Omg you saved my life I have been dying to do this but didnโ€™t know how cause I rent a place! Thanks so much!
