DIY Peel-and-Stick Vinyl Flooring Over Existing Flooring | 10 MONTH REVIEW

Hi Friends! 10 months ago, I showed you guys how to install peel and stick vinyl flooring, I used vinyl flooring from Home Depot. I installed this peel and stick vinyl flooring over my existing tile floors. I saw Amber Scholl’s video on DIY marble flooring, and that gave me the idea to try this in my own space. I installed my vinyl flooring 10 months ago and I haven’t had any problems. I hope this video encourages you to tackle your floors no matter if you live in an apartment or a home. Oh yeah, did I mention that this is a rental hack.
The flooring is from Traffic Master, I chose the color Taupe Oak and I purchased it from Home Depot for $0.97 per square foot.

Is it possible that this kind of floor is so bad? I have been living in a brand new appartment for the last 5 days, and I can see all the floor is scracthed by minimun efforts, example moving a cardboard, or putting a piece of forniture, etc etc. Seems to be too weak?

I clean a lot with Clorox to make sure I get rid of germs, can I mop with a bit of Clorox without it damaging ?

A mr. Clean magic eraser would have cleaned that spot up in two rubs.
Flooring edges will lift and peel. Used this product once for a customer. Never again. Had to hot glue all of the lifted edges. Absolute nightmare. The only areas that stay stuck down are in traffic areas.
As for the installation here. If a little more time was spent staggering the installation it would have at least been done right. There shouldn’t be any boards lining up or within 6 in of each other on its butt ends.
Floor looks nice in the video. Looks like 2 cents in person. That floor will be changed by the next tenant or homeowner guaranteed. Unless they don’t mind any of these issues.
Unfortunately we learn from experience. I would suggest staying away from this product
