Duy's DIY Adventures 010: Vessel Sink & Countertop
Duy's DIY Adventures 010: Vessel Sink & Countertop
In this episode, I try to upgrade my old bathroom vanity with a repurposed laminate countertop and a budget-friendly vessel sink. This will be the first time working on plumbing. Let’s see how it goes!

You did a great job! Very creative and inspiring, hopefully you’ll be uploading more videos! I’m a new subscriber to this channel now.
Hey, what adapter did you buy from your hardware store, what is it called, dimensions etc? I’m running into the exact same problem and need to buy it. Thanks!
Good job on your DYI. That chrome tube aka part as you called it (6:42 time mark) is called a tail piece. The adaptor is a tail piece adaptor. Only thing Different on this nice install I would have sealed the recycled press wood that you drilled through while you still had the tape on. Water causes press wood aka mfd boards to swell if it comes into contact.
Looks good. Thank you.
Great tip about the cyclone effect!
nice ππΏπ½π
What size was the hole saw ?
Such a nice project!
Great video! What is the size on your P-trap? The metal pipe that comes with the sink is smaller than my 1.5" P trap connection. Did you have this problem or is your P-trap the same size as the metal pipe?
Awesome!
Nice
Beautiful you did a great jobπ€π½
Thank you!
Man I cut my board twice and it’s still too small….!
Great Idea!
Do you have a Instagram account??
Awesome video
It looks like the paint from from behind the backsplash is bleeding through. In this case, I’d primer that area to make sure there wasn’t any bleed through. Also, hardware stores sell a can of texture which to match your walls. I think yours might be orange peel from what I can see. It hides imperfections as well. Other than that, nice job.
You did a great job! π
Right beneath the bowl, is that gadget called "mounting ring"?
How tall was the actual cabinet? Most vanities are now 33.5" tall, plus the counter top height and a vessel is approximately 6" tall making the sink too high in the end. That’s my issue right now lol
Personally i would angled the faucet on to the back side so that you can wash your face in the sink easily but thanks for the video
Love it
This is awesome!
