Check out ‘chalk paint’. You don’t need to prime or sand anything. Check out some do it yourself YouTube videos like Kacha and DIY Deanna (how to use chalk paint) and DIYers Beverly Stunning Creations and yoduvh Essentials, Lulu Sapphire, Thrift Diving. I’m amazed how items from Dollar Tree and thrift stores are transformed into high end looking pieces. Continue to work on projects together. My husband and I have been doing projects throughout our marriage of 44+ years.
