Episode One | HOW TO BUY A VAN
Episode One | HOW TO BUY A VAN
Hey guys!
Before I crack into this build I just wanted to quickly run through why I ended up going with an Iveco Daily over other alternatives , how I inspected it and how much I paid for it. Being able to inspect a van yourself can save you a heap of money and it’s a pretty important skill to have considering you’ll be relying on it every single day.
Buying a potential home on wheels can be a pretty big choice, so don’t rush into without understand the pros and cons of the van you choose!
The next Episode will be all about the Design Process – I’ll try and get it up in a couple of days.
Enjoy!

Awesome stuff Mitch, look forward to following this build
Good lad.Subscribed.
This is such an awesome informative video! Thank you so much for taking the time to make this style of video it will be so helpful to so many people. We ended up going with a Transit – fingers crossed that ours is an exception to the norm and goes ok around Aus when borders open back up!
Nice stuff bro! Can you tell me what the internal height of these heigh roof Ivekos? I’ve only had Hiaces and Commuters but over not being able to stand up. Looking at these or the new transit for my next build
Really helpful video, thank you!!
Awesome video, thanks !!
It is funny that after months of researches, this video decides to get into my recommendations the exact day I buy a van.
Great vid dude!
Very helpful Mitch, I was looking on buying a sprinter as i have a vw t5 at the moment and want to have a big enough vehicle to work away on projects (carpenter builder )as well as tour around but I’m in two minds now wether to buy a large truck/lorry even a horsebox with capacity to have a small garage space for tools under bed area but realise the problems again with going to big
How does the iveco compare to the sprinter for driving for you
Nicely done mate, keep it up ! Looking forward to seeing the layout you’ve chosen.
THANK YOU THANK YOU! I have always wanted to buy a van and travel around Australia but had 0 clue on the first thing I’d need to know! Until now! I’ve found one on facebook market place and going for an inspection Friday! So I’ve made a checklist based on what you’ve said! Thanks so much!
Follow Max and Lee. They have the same iveco van and currently working on it for van life.
Awesome. Looking more confident in front of the camera now. I just love your van dude it’s sick
Another spot on vid man! Super helpful โ๐ผ
thx mr cox
Love the "too clean" tip, that saved me from buying a mistake a few years ago. My dad noticed that there was some major work done they failed to mention that we noticed because things were just "too clean".
โi can finally stand up inโ how tall are you OP, and does my 5โ2 self have to worry about that?
Really loved the video. So many good information and nice style. Greetings from Germany โ๐ผ
