That house is not abandoned
We get it… it’s Ethan’s “find”. Good lord how many times did you need to repeat that 😂
You guys shouldn’t be in this house! This doesn’t look like an abandoned house, it’s too well kept up, and the reason there is no mold is likely because the owner of the house keeps the heat on at a low setting! People like you are technically breaking and entering and should be charged, I would be pissed if someone did that to my house or cottage that wasn’t being used all the time. As for no furniture, this house could have to do with a will, or an estate sale! You have no right being there!
You did a fantastic job, preserving that house on video.
My guess is that desk area is probably where they put a record player on. There are speakers built in to the unit and if you had a lot of vinyl records in your collection back then then you would need a big shelf system to hold and display your record collection.
This is in Canada isn’t it.
I’d love to buy that property.
Entertainment center in the basement to answer the question
Lol y’all they’ve used desks for centuries 🤣🤣🤣
The safe you found in the basement is made by Mosler. Mosler makes excellent bank vaults and commercial quality safes. That safe is worth a good bit of money.
Never understood the color scheme of the 70s… it looked sun bleached/faded /moldy from the start ! And the carpets looked like something (unironically) funky would grow in them ..What gives ?
insaneeeee
This home is proof that design trends done in a classy manner, and kept consistent (as in not updating one piece at a time) never really go out of style.
So retro, I’m digging it. I love the outdoors that surrounds it, so gorgeous
damn id love to have a house like that ❤️️
Walks everywhere *Has not seen a rat, mouse or any cob webs* kinda has me wondering “WTF”
Totally a drug dealer’s pad
This has to be an air bnb
There’s nothing cheap about that house.
That wallpaper probably cost of bloody fortune.
If you want to talk cheap houses talk these prefab cardboard things they’re throwing up and subdivisions now.
That "fur" on the wallpaper is called felt
This might have been built in 1973, but the aesthetic of the place SCREAMS mid-60s
WHAT A DREAM HOUSE!!!!!!
Carlo, what state do you live? I live in Illinois near Chicago. Do you think you would ever come to Chicago. If so, I would love to tag along. I grew up in the 70’s and I just love that time period and also 50’s and 60’s, mid century. I’m obsessed with the 1
70’s and I have some decor to put up and I’m thinking of redoing my kitchen in a modern 70’s version. I love that textured wallpaper. My aunt had red wallpaper like that and I remember as a child feeling it and bring enthralled. It brings back such good memories.
I would love to do some urban exploring so please contact me via Facebook if you are ever in Chicago.
Find any Quaaludes ? Cocaine mirrors ?
I like how hes like "theres like a little add on room here, it didnt come with the house originally" uhm in my land they call them sunrooms? lol
The house is most likely a vacation house that the owners have not visited in a little while, hence the lack of furniture and maybe because the house is in perfect condition
HEY GUYS OUT OF RESPECT TO ETHAN WE ARE NOT GOING TO SHOW THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE….. x1000
Honestly… I’d still live there. Lol
This is probably a coke dealers house!
Not abandoned as the appliances are not 70s (laundry). The upkeep has been done to this home. Its clean guys, surely not abandoned. Its interesting how the people live and loved and cared for their home. kinda sad its been left .
Love it!🇸🇪
Conversation Pots are the pinnacle of architecture imo
Love that you can the wall paper furry 😂. It’s called flock and it’s very expensive.
Camera dude is flighty as heck. He needs to focus on details
That’s not an add-on room That’s a sun room.
gotta remember that era. families, parties get togethers and BBQs. This is before computers and starring at cell phones. Yup bon fires, mini bikes , pinball machines, music concerts and great stereo systems. Miss the 70s for sure!
😍
What is that thing at 1:22 in the video?
This house looks very 70s but it’s looks like some modern appliances. The a/c unit in the living room looks fairly new
That’s my dream home, all that space, huge rooms, so damn cool!
This house looks better than mine wtf
That house looks like the owners moved out of it yesterday
That house is not abandoned
Or an author lived there
That’s a cool house
Hippie palace 🤷
This house is mint, very nice lovely 70s house, hope it’s still good condition and hope some one buys it and keeps it orginal. I wish I could buy a house like this.
What is that thing at 1:20 in the video?
Kids homework desk
I would totally live there, the carpeting and wallpaper HAVE to go. But to respect the house and it’s my fav interior design theme. I’d do a modern mid century furniture. Sleek and nice. Grey walls with pops of color. Keep most of the bones of the house. Stained glass stays. Cabinets. People are always looking at these houses and go how ugly is this? Um, did you not see the counter space in the kitchen! Or how every room is like a master bedroom
