I recently visited my friends Hannah and Jared and they mentioned that they’ve been stuck with their bathroom for over a year and need some help with the design. I wanted to try out a few new rental friendly techniques throughout this space and even wallpapered for the first time (paste style wallpaper). When i saw the final outcome of this space I was honestly shocked myself. What was your favorite addition?

Another renter friendly wall solution is to use liquid starch to adhere fabric to the wall

I wish I had seen this months ago! I could have done this. My bath is about this tiny. We bought a premade small cabinet. You made this over for about what we paid for the new sink and cabinet!

Found your channel from a Dr. Lori appraisal about your light fixtures. I think you are doing a fabulous job. I am thrilled that you kept the green tile on the floor and shower. You have good taste and you’re not scared to give the character to individual rooms that your new house deserves. 🖤🖤🖤

I’m 100% sure now that drew is not from this planet. His thinks through everything possible way to make things easier ❤️

How does the solid piece of MDF (it’s not plywood) on the floor hold up when you mop the bathroom floor, even when painted? That stuff sucks up water and crumbles.

  12. Wildflowers on July 7, 2023 at 2:23 pm

All I can say is wow! You are amazing! it looks wonderful!

wow wow wow!!!! love all you do but gotta say that ruler circular saw technique ROCKS!

  19. KD on July 7, 2023 at 2:29 pm

The wallpaper idea looks GORGEOUS, but I’m not sure it’s practical. It’s secured by painter’s tape( which is made to be easy to peel off), and it’s installed in a bathroom, which naturally has a lof of humidity. It probably peeled off a month from now.

  26. MsDilly Reviews on July 7, 2023 at 2:40 pm

So, beautiful! QUESTION: why didn’t you put up the beadboard and pàint the storage unit prior to installing it? It looked like a struggle. Just asking. No shade.

  27. Kimberly Kelly on July 7, 2023 at 2:41 pm

Why didn’t you opt for painting the wood items prior to installing them? I feel like that’s so much easier to do.

  30. Daya Pavlova on July 7, 2023 at 2:45 pm

I learn so much from these videos. Like attaching trim with velcro or the heat-activated edging – I need these but never knew they existed!!

  31. Ruth Acuna on July 7, 2023 at 2:48 pm

Love love the vanity, my sister needs storage and I am going to make this for her! The space looks incredible 😍

  32. Rock the Boat on July 7, 2023 at 2:50 pm

Dirty mirror at the end, lol…..nice job! As a renter you’ve inspired me to think outside the box…..ps, advise them to steam soften/loosen the wallpaper & tape under it to help avoid the painter’s tape being destructive when they move?

  33. Hà Phạm on July 7, 2023 at 2:50 pm

Great video! I love how creative your video is. I just have a small concern about whether the stick-on bead board will stay on in such a high-moisture space like the shower.

  34. TrueC on July 7, 2023 at 2:51 pm

You should elevate it a little bit as water from floor can easily penetrate in that bottom part.

  35. Naria Keir on July 7, 2023 at 2:52 pm

  38. Happy Young on July 7, 2023 at 2:58 pm

I have always heard never use brown in a bathroom……but the accents and finished room are amazing….a natural and spa like feeling with the soft green 😊

  39. Mar Lene on July 7, 2023 at 2:59 pm

Wow you did a lovely job.

Beautiful rental friendly makeover. Texture makes such a difference.
Also, thank you for taking the time for viewers to fully appreciate the finished product. So many sites show the detail of the process, but rush through the end result.

I used clear contact paper for my removable tiles then used gorilla spray glue to adhere the tiles. Very quick stays up.
