Very informational!
A natural wood acoustic guitar placed on a side wall creates a good feeling
Hi, Julie. I love your videos and they have been a great help in my renovation project. I tried the bagua map but my house is angled diagonally to North so NE, NW, SE & SW are walls. Can these principles still apply t my living room?
I love your content thank you so much for the effort you put into your videos ❤. Do you know any feng shui home designers around Boston ma?
Thanks Julie
Thank you so much! ❤️♾️❤️
I really enjoyed learning about the map and how to apply the principles in a living space, great series!
How about shoe rack under the stairs?
I love the info! But what do I do if my fireplace is on the north ?
I’m new to your channel and I’m loving it! I have a small living room & getting new flooring and want to get new furniture. I’m so clueless and would love your input on ideas on what to buy.
Any suggestions on dinning room lighting? My chandelier is metal. Now I’m thinking of changing it.
I have watched a few of your videos before but I really liked this one showing how to use the Bagua. I need to draw it out to see more clearly but so far it looks like all the main compass directions ie N,S E & W, point to the corners of my room. Trying to work out what this means but thinking lots of areas will have missing bits? Don’t know if that makes sense and I’m correct? Or what to do about it 🤔 Thank you
South represents fire.. fireplace is on the north wall. 🙃
Julie, with the Bagua map and the relationship to Mother, Father… if there is a big empty space at second son (north) do I place a water feature outside when there is a patio outside?
2:43 brown leather sofa WHERE TO GET IT ??
Hi Julie, when I used the compass the North of our house is not in the upper center like yours it is in the left corner facing the door. How will I use the Bagua? Please help
I’m a little late at the party, but I vote YES! for more Feng Shui videos…
Hi! I want to make some changes in my living room and I don’t know where to position my couch. Is there any fend shui rule for it?
Where do I put my TV ? It is across from my couch and reliner.
That was helpful, thanks! You are flowing a positive energy! Best wishes to you ❤
You know, I’ve always wanted a piano in the corner of my living room. I’m wondering if that would count as metal?
Julie, I recently moved and I have a big nearly black old wooden piano and a tenie tiny living room. I put it on the west side, cause this seemed to be the only possibility. But is there a better direction? Thank you in advance and greetings from Germany 😊
I love collecting antique knives and swords — Can they still be used as decor as long as we don’t hang them above where we sit?
Loving the series❤!
DO you have any tips or suggestions on what we can do if the 🔥 fireplace is in the north part of our livingroom?!😬
Also, our condo is an open concept with the dining room & living room basically being like one big rectangle; what is the best way to separate the two spaces without blocking the flow of chi?
& last question: our front entrance is on the first floor with an open foyer & staircase to the 2nd floor where the rest of our entire living area is (its a 2nd story condo)… does this have any sort of impact on anything? I’m thinking because its pretty open that its fine & I actually love the space & high ceilings in the area, but if the 1st floor entrance is an issue is there anything we can do to help keep the chi flowing up & in to/through the actual living space?!
I’d love to hear your thoughts if/when you get a chance! We’re actually moving in this week & haven’t even picked out our living room furniture yet and I really want to make sure I get the best furniture for the space, so I’m not rushing into it. (But I also don’t want our guests to end up sitting on the floor either though!😳
I look forward to hearing what u think. Thank you so much! 🙏🏼
Julie, loved the video— do you have an recommendations regarding sectionals in the living room? I have read to avoid them but they are so popular…
I have not watched all videos but what if you have a window in one of the cardinal points or a door, how do you make feng shui embrace it? For e.g got a window in the fiery south… red curtains? Red seat? I kinda have a green view from there. And water is in a walking area.
Any suggestions about having my fireplace in the north?
Thank you! Love this, more please 😊
When you are taking the directions and you say “as opposed to the location of the main door” you mean : standing with my back facing the door ?
What do i do about the water feature if my door is in the middle of north
You’re absolutely amazing sis thank you for sharing your knowledge n wisdom😋
With respect to water feature not being on right .. is that front and back gardens?
Thank you for making this system easier to understand
Hi when I open my main door, there is a window right at the end of my home which I can see from the main door. Can I use window films instead of curtains to prevent the Chi from directly escaping through the window? As I have bad allergy to dust and curtains will catch dust overtime.
Thank u I love ur videos so much. Ur Make up is especially in this video amazing 😍😮
I just stumbled upon your site!! I think I know why I always feel "unsettled" in some rooms. My question is how do you work around a fireplace centered on a North wall with a built in desk and bookshelf on one side of the fireplace and French doors on the other side…all in a row? French doors, fire place and then the built in desk.
What if the water feature is *inside* the front entry and to the right (facing the outside)? I included a water feature with plants in my foyer to draw chi into the house and help it feel happy.
Moving to the Island of Madeira and the Atlantic Ocean is on the south side of our home. Hopefully one of your other videos helps explain what to do when the element is on the opposite side of your home. Both the master bedroom and home office will have big windows on the south side with a view of the ocean.
What should we do about L shaped living room which has two doors? One for entry of guests and another to other room.
Very informative. Thank you.
Hello Julie. Could you please advise me on the remedy/cure for an L-shaped home with a courtyard at the center of the Bagua map?
To me toilets are lucky, especially when I really need one. I do enjoy your channel and am in a constant mind set of decluttering. You have very good taste.
My fireplace is in the North. Is it okay to put water elements there?
Is it alright not to have a centre table? It’s a small space so we have the coffee table between two chairs. They are the only chairs in the living room and they are facing the TV
Thank you so much for making this easier to follow. I’ve followed Feng Shui for many years and tried to incorporate as much as I could. Your Bagua explanation and methodology was brilliant! Please do more. xx
I’ve been looking for this exact info paid out in this format. It’s even my laptop background for a while!
A lot of FS seems like a bunch of superstitious mumbo jumbo tbh.
Like your content, but………..can you make a Feng Shui video for the average folk out there? The furniture and furnishings you show look like they’re available only to the wealthy, not to average folks who are just trying to make a living and raise a family!
Hi Julie!
Thank you for your awesome educational video! I have one question, in which direction would be appropriate to place a TV in the living room?
Thank you!
I love your videos! Thank you!
