Fung shui gives bad designers an excuse to think they know better than others. I think it’s a load of crap. Just because you follow “rules” doesn’t mean that your harmonizing a space. I would say, leave fung shui up to designers who not only know the qualities, but know why it should be applied and when it shouldn’t. Clients get dumb over these fung shui obsessions and cling onto material garbage that ends up ruining the flow of their space.

If the staircase cant be completely out of view from the front door… Does it make a difference to have the back of the staircase facing the door? (Flipping the staircase)
