    Love love love the rug!

  2. Stephanie Torres on August 4, 2022 at 3:34 am

How about you try moving the shelf next to the couch in that corner and the chair by the tv, plant on the opposite side near the door

  3. naronbradli on August 4, 2022 at 3:34 am

Honestly I think your space would be more beneficial if you get rid of the coffee table and add a side table instead to the side by the window. It would utilize your space better and make it feel less cluttered. Also your rug needs to be larger for the space that you have which is why it could look slightly off. I would recommend getting a larger rug for that space.

  4. Kirsten Guest on August 4, 2022 at 3:35 am

do both 🙂 overlap rug moment

Hey Sam, Your apartment is looking good. I love what you did over the couch. The whole room has a out doorsy vibe. I love how you are able to make space where it seems like there isn’t any. Good for you!!!! However, I have a hair problem. I hope you can help. I have fine hair with low medium density. I, against my better judgement got a Brazillian Blow out about 3 months ago. I had been on the cg method for a little over a year and wasn’t having any luck. The only thing I accomplished very healthy hair so I thought I was safe. This all took place during covid so my hair grew and I was losing hair. I guess I was scruching too hard and hair came out so I quit the cg method and just let it be frizzy. The high temperature used during the BB shocked me. I have never had to use that high of heat. So between no trims but one 2 inch one and my hair thinning our rapidly from the BB lets just say my hair is doing a chemical cut. I want to cut my hair up into a cute neck length bob which is what I had before ,but having watched you grow your hair out and take it easy on the heat and ride the fence between wavy/curly and straight I am impressed. You did good! My question is this. The Paul Mitchell styling stuff you use. I can not find and I can’t even remember the name except it has the word Velvet in it. Has it been discontinued? My hair can both curl and be blow dryed into a bob. To protect the integrity of my hair once it’s had a chop I’d like to go back and forth from a straight bob to a curly one. My daughter has very course curly hair and she gets the BB maybe twice a year and has been for several years. Still has thick hair and no problems. So in spite of my stylist telling me everything would be fine, it’s not fine even tho I have done the upkeep to the letter. I just NEED the courage to cut it off. It’s down to the middle of my back and doesn’t look good at all. because it’s both frizzy and thinned out from the hair breaking off. I know now I should have been getting regular trims while on the cg method but I thought I didn’t need to. Anyway, if you can give me any idea of what I can expect in the future before this all grows out, I’d greatly appreciate it. Yes, I’m older at 66 but I don’t look it even with the white hair. I’m active so please don’t think of me as an old person. I don’t feel it at all. Even if you have nothing to say, lol, thanks for letting me vent and yes, ladies let this be a terrible warning because I certainly was not being a good example.

You should try leaving your poor doggo out of the kennel when you’re gone. You’d be surprised at how well they behave alone. I have 3 dogs and never used a kennel once! I allowed free range since puppy stage and have had zero issues. I dunno just a thought, I just felt bad for your puppers.😢

  7. CozyRosie121 on August 4, 2022 at 3:39 am

Love how the prints came out! And definitely like the Amazon rug and the chair facing the couch! Looks like a nice place to chill and chat!

  8. Caroline Alomar on August 4, 2022 at 3:43 am

Consider lowering the pictures a little. They are way to high up on the wall

  9. Steph Frederick on August 4, 2022 at 3:44 am

I love what you decided with the chair! What would look SO cute is like one of those poof foot rest things in front of it! I agree I feel like the rug colors aren’t doing your space justice. More of a yellow/orange/terracotta hues in a rug I think would look great. It’s coming along so nicely! You always do well at making a cozy space

  10. H F on August 4, 2022 at 3:45 am

Wait. Where did you move From and Why did you move?

  11. China Cee on August 4, 2022 at 3:45 am

Okay I’m back…Put the stand where the plant is by the couch and put the plant behind the chair where the stand is currently. The height from the stand would look nice next to the lowered couch and draw the eyes to the pictures on the walls once you get them. It also brings the black color over to the other side

  12. Sassy Sandra on August 4, 2022 at 3:46 am

REMOVE PRICE TAG STICKERS EASILY.. by using your blow dryer, heat up the sticker with your blow dryer and it will peel off very easy. Love your new place!! Xoxo

  13. Marteka Belliveau on August 4, 2022 at 3:48 am

Leave in on the bookcase and angled. Looks good

  16. Sairandipity on August 4, 2022 at 3:49 am

White vinegar will get the stick off. Use a cotton swab or cotton ball.

  17. Eileen Crespo on August 4, 2022 at 3:49 am

  18. Vanessa Adams on August 4, 2022 at 3:50 am

Why do I just want to take the doggy for a walk?😂😂 He just looks so sad. I do love you place.

  19. Estefany Vargas on August 4, 2022 at 3:51 am

Loveeeeee the chair facing the couch at the slanted angle.. instead of flat against the wall.

  20. A1 on August 4, 2022 at 3:51 am

The rug being shorter then the sofa doesn’t work, both rugs are too small

  21. kelly whelan on August 4, 2022 at 3:53 am

Chair facing the couch but move the self next to couch where the plant is, and the plant between the tv and chair. You can’t see the plant well behind the couch

  22. Victoria Michelle on August 4, 2022 at 3:57 am

Hey Sam could you link your pink scrunchi [24.19]

  23. Defiant Design Co on August 4, 2022 at 3:57 am

Scoot the rug under the couch a little bit more OR get a larger rug, one thats wider than the couch. Also will that tall shelf fit on the side of the couch where the chair originally was? Thst would create more flow for the chair in the corner by the tv. But otherwise it looks amazing and I actually do like the color of the rug

  24. Momof4 on August 4, 2022 at 3:57 am

I like by the bookshelf and angle

  25. Angela White on August 4, 2022 at 3:57 am

Can you please tell me where did you get the art work? It’s so so beautiful on your wall!!!

  26. Sara Richey on August 4, 2022 at 3:58 am

Ok hear me out – a slightly larger living room rug that extends past the couch just a bit. Then for your bedroom I would honestly do your same frame layout (2 vertical) but with the new size you purchased.

  27. Iva Lopez on August 4, 2022 at 3:58 am

Just get rid of the chair girl 😂 it’s sorta awkward and doesn’t match at all. With anything

  28. Mariam Viqar on August 4, 2022 at 3:59 am

Please keep the rug!!! Really nice accent colors and some contrast. Also keep the chair at an angle near the shelf.

  29. Andrea on August 4, 2022 at 4:01 am

Ok now I want your couch lol 🛋💕 love your whole set up 👌🏻 u did great, I say just get a new rug and girl ur good to go 🥰

The stickers on stuff makes me so mad too!

  32. Kasheena Williams on August 4, 2022 at 4:08 am

I love the style of your apartment. You did great! 😊 oh and the chair makes sense on the opposite side of the room facing the couch where you have it.

  33. Sophia Hunn on August 4, 2022 at 4:08 am

Omgggg come help me decorate my house. I LOVE your art on the walls in living room looks so good!!! You make me want to get decorating. 😌👏🏾

  34. Fae on August 4, 2022 at 4:10 am

I personally don’t feel the need to fill all the empty spaces. Just leads to more upkeep with cleaning and making spaces feel smaller. And also dings your pocketbook a great deal.. I love the neutral / natural vibe you’re going for though.

  35. Belinda Bruce Austin on August 4, 2022 at 4:10 am

Please do not move that chair by your sofa, move it by your shelf. Love your sofa and rug good eye!!!

  36. Claudia M. on August 4, 2022 at 4:11 am

I was going to suggest the bookshelf against the the other wall on the same corner (turning the bookshelf to face the basket & T.V) and then placing the chair between the bookshelf and the balcony door (both bookshelf and chair with their backs against the same wall).
I hope that made some sense.

  37. Styled By Iris on August 4, 2022 at 4:12 am

  39. Victoria Michelle on August 4, 2022 at 4:17 am

    Have the chair angled

  40. China Cee on August 4, 2022 at 4:18 am

The living room is sooo cozy looking. I also don’t know what you pay for rent but I feel like you’re getting so much bang for your buck. The living room, island in the kitchen, large bedroom, walk in closet and wash and dryer!! whatttt?!!! love maximizing money!!!

I remember watching your move in video to your apt with the steps

  44. Yvonne Price on August 4, 2022 at 4:21 am

What if you swap out the knobs on the dresser? Gold would look nice

  45. M N on August 4, 2022 at 4:23 am

The shelf and above the kitchen cabinets is looking too cluttered tbh.

  46. Sammy G on August 4, 2022 at 4:25 am
