Wow, they didn’t put the vinyl flooring down very well. I don’t think that they use glue it all. I bet you could have sanded that wood under the vinyl.

I admire what you are doing, however, next time do not pull up the old vinyl flooring. You run a high risk of being exposed to Asbestos. Normally, just install another floor over top of or have it removed by a professional who is certified for Asbestos removal.
cant do this is a rental! My greedy landlord wont go for this crap
why wouldn’t you put something between the flooring and hard wood??? you just ruined the hardwood even more.
I ordered one of these and I paid for it and they have not sent me the item. I can’t seem to find out how to contact them nor did I receive a confirmation of the order. I hope someone contacts me soon. I’ve contacted my bank waiting for their reply.

you said you rent but then you ripped up the floor.
you dont need to rip up an old floor to put down a new one. Just put the new one on top of the old one, Especially when its not your property.
