Stay put girl👍🏼 don’t pay these crazy prices. AZ has enough trails you can hit and enjoy until this crap stops.

Im turning 18 in a month and I planned to live in my car and travel after school for like 4 years. It sucks that I will probably not be able to do that. Greetings from Germany

Sorry loves, I drive electric, but have seen some crazy prices out there these days. The Russian invasion of Ukraine is increasing several items here in the US as the country and businesses side with Ukraine and block Russian goods/services. Good luck on your search and hopefully there is an app that will show you the gas prices around the area so you can find something along the way that may be the better option.

Hi Alyssa I think its ok to travel in the van as long as you keep it local just surf parking lot to parking lot stay local and don’t move much

  15. Comic mike silver age Adams on March 18, 2022 at 5:50 pm

I just got did my van trip probably for the year. 8 days, 3800 miles from Kentucky to New Mexico and back. I lover it but almost 12 hundred in fuel. 😳

  19. Jam Slam on March 18, 2022 at 5:57 pm

Either pay higher gas prices or be in Ukraine dodging missiles fired by a genocidal maniac. Your choice. Seriously, it’s not that big of a deal. I can always move to Nevada temporarily and pay $1 less per gallon.

  20. Crazy Gringo on March 18, 2022 at 5:59 pm

It’s the same here babygirl high gas prices try and stay positive till all this be over be safe

  21. Mandie Wilson on March 18, 2022 at 6:02 pm

  22. Paul Fergusson on March 18, 2022 at 6:02 pm

  23. Jack Anderson on March 18, 2022 at 6:06 pm

Gas prices are definitely influencing my decisions right now! I just sold my V6 Accord and bought a Prius. I know they get a lot of hate, but I like it so far.

  24. Bryan Rhoten on March 18, 2022 at 6:07 pm

Stop voting Democrat… we can all then enjoy our lives how we’d like, without the government getting into every aspect of our lives.

  25. Jhon Candy on March 18, 2022 at 6:07 pm

    More fake van lifers….$%

  26. Ivy Max on March 18, 2022 at 6:08 pm

Yep, I had a 1200 mile trip to make from AZ back home, then another 1300 miles to my summer gig. I think I’m staying put in AZ and then going straight to my summer job then parking there all summer. I’m also planning to buy an electric bike. I cannot afford this gas.

  27. SassyAfterSixty on March 18, 2022 at 6:09 pm

Before I left Florida it affected my travel. I was staying in one spot blogging mostly, working online. Then my license got suspended for 1 year so I can’t travel & am staying at my ex husband’s. I still get on my laptop in my car. It’s my private place. As much as I hate being stuck it couldn’t have come at a better time with gas prices the way they are, I was going 2 be grounded and I have a 4cyl midsize. I had a Ford Focus hatchback and I miss the great mileage, never over $30 even back in 2008 when it went to $4 something. I remember the little Chevy you had. I want a van too but very reluctant to get rid of my car.

I love your sense of humor, if I wasn’t twice your age, plus, we ‘d be best buds.

    i love your videos

  30. A.I. Marvin on March 18, 2022 at 6:12 pm

Paying for gas instead of rent is too expensive ??? You can live in whatever state you want. Prices are $3 to $7 a gallon. How much do you pay for rent ? Do you do BLM camping?

  31. Ang3lBass on March 18, 2022 at 6:12 pm

*sigh* I’m leaving in a week for my first big journey, and I had to bump up my gas budget so much, it makes me pretty anxious tbh.

  32. fishernate on March 18, 2022 at 6:13 pm

I was forced to move into a 35-year-old camper van a year and a half ago. Although overall I’m happy, I just spent $189 filling the gas tank yesterday and that only gets me about 450 km. I like to joke that I can’t afford this lifestyle, but the truth is I can’t afford anything else either.

  33. Shawn Atwood on March 18, 2022 at 6:13 pm

You are Gorgeous & Gas prices are rediclous lol

    You are very cute

  39. SeniorManinaVan on March 18, 2022 at 6:23 pm

Gas prices are up over$2/gal and climbing. I think we are done for until some changes are made in DC. So my strategy is day camp in my favorite parks (3), walking trails, library to expand my knowledge, planet fitness (actually working out, better meal prep planning, improving my van life regimen, all within a 10 mile radius.

  40. Jessica Woodard on March 18, 2022 at 6:25 pm

After my travel plans being smashed the last 2 years due to the panDAMic, I was REALLY looking forward to a month of zooming around the country visiting peeps this month! But nope, I’m staying put for now. Just doing smaller excursions closer to my home base.

  41. Dick Tater on March 18, 2022 at 6:25 pm

35mph max go on the old country road avoid hiways inflate the 💩 out of the tyres. Alternatively you might wanna advertise on carsharing sites (dunno how it’s in murica but in europe it’s viable cause gas has been this expensive here for eons what you pay there only now. Well not really you still pay dirt at 5 bux per gallon it’s 10 bux per gallon in austria.) That’s pretty much all you can do…Thing is you shouldnt have bought this gas cemetery. Like a good diesel with 40 mpg is nothing at 5 bux per gallon is very affordable.

That is amazing that you lived in Japan, I’ve always wanted to go there. I live not too far from the Arctic Circle so I feel thay about the snow and the freezing cold.
