The earpiece sends a wireless signal straight thru your head.

that earpiece then sends the signal straight thru your head to the other earpiece.

The room defuser is of the candle maker ‘Cire Trudon’, founded by commission of Louis XIV of France in 1643! It is pronounced ‘Sear (as in to sear a streak) Tru-don’ – I believe the ‘u’ was written in the Latin style ‘v’.
I absolutely love this space of yours. You have a ton of reviews and may not get to this one in particular. I actually wanted to see if you would be so kind as to give me a pointer or two regarding the new office space. I work in the engineering division with a city government in Virginia and I love the vintage style. We’ve just moved in to this new commercial building due to some unfortunate events that unfolded in the city. We’ll be in this location for the next four to five years until we relocate back to the municipal center. In the meantime the space is quite nice, a cubicle type area that may be three times as large as someone might imagine when think cubicle. The problem I’m having is the desks that have been chosen are this really light colored wood that I’m struggling with trying to integrate a vintage style look to it. I’m aiming to start with a desk blotter and move on from there. I operate off of windows computers with the silver chrome dual monitor set up along with a silver chrome laptop. I wish I could attach a few pictures but if you get around to this and you’re up for it any opinions on what color to begin with to get that vintage look. There seems to really only be two ways I can go. One would be to start with the dark brown leather or perhaps black. I’ll be using my laptop as an additional screen and purchasing a retro style keyboard and then just move on from there by decorating the space. Any thoughts you might have or anyone for that matter on how to begin decorating with such a light color wood that feels like they’re aiming for a modern type atmosphere.
The lighting, paint and furniture makes one feel like a roaring fireplace is creating the comfort level in the room…yet there is no fireplace. Great job to all who participated in creating your office.

I hear the high pitch sound when you’re mic-ed up, but I also hear low sounds from your environment when you didn’t have the mic. I have to filter out other sounds to hear you. I don’t hear that high pitch when other bloggers use Rode, so I’m confused why you’re getting interference. It does help when you’re outside when it’s windy. The sound is richer with the mic. @technickispeaking, how do you get your rich audio quality and no high pitch sound when using Rode?

This office is for a private school boy who reads classics and is well educated. Which is obviously a façade as you don’t come from that background? It’s all just pretence
