Well, it’s been fun and games – but it’s finally time to get some adulting done! I have to go get my Alabama state license and bring the girls along – always an adventure! We have BBQ pork for dinner and have some pool time!

It took 8 hours at the DMV in Mobile when I transferred my license over.
You are a brave woman to take the kiddos to the DMV!
The DMV is something Oklahoma seems to do well. I’m in a small town but even people in the bigger areas say it’s better here. I’m in and out in like 15-20 minutes at most.

In NC you can renew on line with no traffic tickets. Out of state not sure about it??? Hope you get a fair assessment of your damages on your furniture-appliances and God bless. Now you are a legit Alabama Girl!!! Yeah!

We love the pork tenderloin. But they do not look like that. There long and skinny for $3.99 I think? You can get plain, mesquite or lemon pepper.

Oh wow you do not live far from me ….I moved here 7 years ago 🙂 I am in Limestone county 🙂 This area takes some getting used to…It isn’t quite as easy to meet people as lower Alabama 🙂

A good trick for tender meat is the sear the meat on all sides before you put it in the crockpot. Put a fry pan on the burner at the highest heat, oil the meat and sear it on all sides until you have the dark crust all over the meat.
We have something in common we live at the grocery store! Lol But I love to go grocery shopping and I enjoy watching your grocery hauls!
My mom is from Mobile, Al and I absolutely love visiting. You should eventually make your way there for a little weekend getaway. Also, if you want a good laugh, theres a funny video going around facebook of "ten things you’ll never hear in the south". And check out Whoa Sussana on facebook. She does some hilarious satire videos about living in the south 🙂
Glad your trip to the DMV went well! I had to renew my license here in GA back in January and was lucky to get in and out within 30 minutes. 🙂 I love all of your videos and have enjoyed watching y’all’s move to AL and seeing y’all explore all the fun things to do! I do have one question…you mentioned making an avocado type salad a few vlogs back. Do you happen to have a recipe that you could share or you could just point me to the vlog that the recipe is already on? Thank you!!
How long did it take to receive your license in the mail
I live in Cullman! Just about 40 minutes south of you! I started watching your videos of Disney World when I started planning our first trip which will be November 2017, the week after Thanksgiving. I have two girls, 4 and 5, so your tips and opinions on your Disney videos have helped me.
"This is cool, there is water on both sides" lol I’ve lived in Alabama my whole 22 years so I so used to it. I think it is funny seeing how other react. Hope Alabama treats y’all well(:
We buy meat in bulk at Sam’s or Costco because it’s usually the cheapest. It’s only for my husband (I stopped eating it for health reasons) so I’m not going to go to seven different grocery stores for the best price. The Aldi frozen meat, like meatballs and nuggets, are fine. And the Mama Cosi brand is better for pizza and lasagna.
DMV in New Jersey is hectic. You need 6 points to get your license. Birth certificate, marriage certificates, utility bill, ect….
Do you have a pressure cooker or insta pot? The meat comes out tender and only 10 to 20 min for the same meat from aldi. A complete pot roast witb carrots potatoes etc only takes 40 min the other way can take up to 4 to 5 hours..
The DMV is no fun! At least it’s done now!! 🎉🎉 Our town is so small that there are usually about 3 people in the waiting every time I’ve ever been lol thank goodness because the DMV is already no fun but with kids it can be downright scary 😂 😂
