I use black on the coat closet way in our entryway. The accent colors are purple and soft white to off white. It is a great dramatic change & visually designates the area as the entryway, since we really don’t have an actual entryway, but with furniture placement we now have one.
I dont think you need another color. That blue is striking yet bold. I think the gold and mirror accents are enough.
