Wow, thank you. I am also watching your Ultimate Crash course to living on the road. I have been to your website many times but never saw this post, nor have I seen this video before. Thank you.
Bob, been watching awhile, I would love to do this type of living, but am stuck right now waiting on the other half to retire lol He is a bit of a workaholic and not sure how he would handle no work to be done. I like the van idea, but I am thinking more of the early 70’s type van, something with height to it. I want a toilet, I am not sure if that is realistic or not.
Bob, you are the best! π
Excellent information. Thank you for sharing ππ»ππ»ππ»

What design software are you using on this video? Iβve been designing Ram Promaster 2500-3500 on Sketchup. I live the 3D so you know how many cubic inches go where all the whole trying to keep it balanced and double/triple useful. I think I finally have my own work/live van designed. I hope to travel and design things (homes or Vans).
This was really helpful! Thanks Bob and Nomads!
yes !!! Love this !!
I have my camp mattress on the floor. It is light and can be turned on itβs side out of the way. Lots of hooks on the top of the side walls for hanging what I need. So I have the whole floor for anything. It changes

Bob, thank you many times for the wonderful website, youtubes and for all the support that you provide to the nomans and people like myself who is slowly moving into vanlife.
Would it be too much for you to make a short tour of your van. I can see that you have a wonderful high roof and the whole van look very different from your old van tour. Many thanks for the time and effort in advance.
You just keep making easier and easier for us. Thank you
This is helpful! Thank you very much.
Hi Bob & thanks Bob! I do read a lot & teach myself that way, and I’m realizing, as a person who spends a lot of time alone, that at some times of the day, I just like to hear a human voice, and I don’t want to think so much, so it was nice to hear you walk through the floor plans. Thank you.
Love this, it’s so helpful to for planning.
This is great! Thanks
Best thing in the world is to be surrounded by dogs!

Very helpful
Hi Bob and thank you for all of your help and concern. Do you have measurements and floor plans for any mini vans. I just purchased a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country mini van to convert. I’ve come to realize that one of the things I have not been able to be sure about (it gets run through too quickly for me on the videos) is exactly how to attach the wood to the sides of the mini van. I could really use detailed camera work and instructions for this. Ex: What length and size screws, how to attach the strips of wood to the sides and where what kind of wood and what size
Extremely informative. Just what I was looking for. Thank you, Bob.
Saw in one van that there are " Bump-outs " for the back window area on a ‘ Cargo bed ‘; to expand crossway sleeping. Another van had a length way upper-bed – double split murphy bed with storage under each half; the cool idea was that it could be opened to drive a small ‘ Off Road ‘ or Motor Bike on a Trip. Anyways, thank you for your efforts to help & inform the interested people. Also, there is an English Gentleman, Nate Murphy, who sells a simple Van Conversion Book for anyone. Again Thanks.
Thank you for your service to your fellow man,
Keep shining.
Yes very helpful! I watch your videos! But I forgot about going to the website!! Thank youβ£οΈ
Thank you for this. I am in the process of creating my van/ I am 5’2" and will be having the bed at the back of the van with the galley in an L shape behind the drivers seat and on the wall. This was tremendously helpful. Thanks so much!
Thank you for these floor plan options. They are helpful to see items in scale.
whats the common inside width please
