Yes floor! It sucks that in these homes they dont let you choose everything you want and then you gotta spend extra money to replace it. I cant wait to see the place come together.

Pretty choices Nadia!!!! I bought my townhome last May and while it’s not new, there were a lot of renovations done and your videos have given me ideas to further improve and/ or change/ upgrade things throughout my home and I thank you. Small changes make a huge difference.

I love both floors the current ones and the new ones. I don’t think people expect cheap from your channel I think they come for quality even if the quality is at an affordable price. I don’t go to diy channels checking for expensive so I wouldn’t come to a channel like yours checking for cheap.

I am definitely getting my own inspection when they built my house.
What floor did you have down at first? What color?
So glad you got an inspection. I thought I wouldn’t need an inspection for a new build. My realtor/sorority sister advised that even with new builds to have your own inspection done because the builders just covers the minimum requirements. So for others considering a new build, I know it’s extra money but get it done. I am glad I took her advice.

Nadia glad everything is coming along. I’m just wondering something….why did you have the builder put in flooring or light fixtures at all if you were going to change it right away. For instance, when we built, I didn’t want the builder grade mirrors in the bathroom or the builder grade light fixtures, so I bought my own mirrors and light fixtures. So the budget that the builder gave us for those things were just credited somewhere else in the house. So the money I saved there, I was able to add those funds to my kitchen cupboard budget for instance. Was just wondering if your builder wouldn’t allow that?
