@Lindsay Living I was surprised you don’t like ‘daytime’ lightbulbs. I thought that was the best light to have. I know I don’t like lightbulbs that casts a yellow hue.
Can you expand more on lighting? Request more info on wattages, lumens, kelvens?
What is best and where.
How can I know the proper bulb is going to light the space (too much or too little light)?
Hopefully over the coming winter I’m going to be adding additional lightiing, sconces, small side table lamp, etc.

Imagine trying to hang lamps on medallions with the old gaslight pipes coming out of the ceiling, LOL! I could only use ones with a sort of inverted cone thing (you doubtless know the proper name) long enough to cover the gas attachments. By the way, your new office looks lovely! I am glad you are not a huge rug snob who only buys vintage wool rugs. I have two of those but recently purchased 2 machine-loomed rugs for my living room and they look great. I do hope they hold up well, but they are so easy to clean (dogs!) and getting those wool kelims hand washed always cost a fortune.
