HOW LIVING IN A VAN CHANGED OUR LIVES (our road trip documentary)

HOW LIVING IN A VAN CHANGED OUR LIVES (our road trip documentary)

After living, working, and traveling full-time together in the tiniest little van for an entire year, both of our lives have been forever changed. Our darling van saw 38 states, drove over 30,000 miles across the entire US, and housed us through sunshine, rainfall, snowfall, and high-speed wind. What an incredibly wild year it was. It was both the most exciting year of our lives, while also being the most challenging.

Thank you all for being a huge support to what we do and for choosing to be a part of our journey. This past year in the van will certainly be one to remember, and we can’t wait for the start of chapter two (full-time international travel) starting tomorrow, when our flight takes off for our first country abroad post-pandemic. Thank you for taking the time to watch through this documentary, and we will see you in eight days with our first international video!

Follow along to see where we head next.

I want to buy your cook book! You’re so creative its so inspiring to see that because you aren’t surrounded by all this material clutter you truly find creativity in everything. Painting bones, making your own cookbook! It’s clear that without the clutter you have the freedom for the inner artist to thrive.

In real life, everything we have are took for granted, fresh air, clean water, electricity and paved roads.

PS. After watching your video, I decided not to upgrade my phone to the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold.

You guys are beautiful couple! If you guys can travel and live in the small space for a year, you guys are all set for your marriage!💪👍🏻So fun to watch you,😀 in the reality of good and bad in the van life, after watching you make me feel even more want to do this now and after I’m retired, only me and have my husband sometimes! Our family has been doing road trips over @20 years, but we have never thought that we can turn our mini vans into a mini camper. Every now and then, one of my childrens saying, are we going to stay at 10k stars hotel tonight? It means, sleep at a Walmart parking lot or rest area near the highway. Hotels are getting too expensive these days. This is an incredible video. Thanks for sharing!

Have you tried dry shampoo? I used it during the pandemic. Easier than shampooing, drying and curling your hair (I have curly hair and have to at least shape it, or I’ll look like I stuck my finger in an electric socket!).

  39. Elsa Boyd on January 20, 2022 at 3:42 pm

is so real and evidence what #DrSusanOduwa has been doing and still doing especially how his natural herbal supplement cured and restore all the lost glory within 3weeks of usage. Thank you Dr for curing my herpes virus.

Excellent video. I can’t wait to view your others as I stumbled across your channel looking for great Transit conversions. After viewing this video I was wondering what happened to Rover, who was the lucky person to continue with so many stories and places already embedded in a vehicle. And will the adventure live on…..? ❤🚐🏞🏜🏝

Hiya C & C! This is so marvelous. Good for you two. You are wise beyond your years in knowing that we don’t know what tomorrow will bring, so live now. I’m 67 and have been thinking a lot about life’s lessons, meaning, and purpose, etc., for decades. Probably most of my adult life. (In college, I remember filling out one of those grandiose surveys that Deans always like to hand out at beginning of the semester meetings. One of my life goals was to "develop a philosophy of life." I know, how insufferable, right?) Still no answers, but am convinced that if there are any, they exist in taking risks, having adventures, and maintaining a positive outlook (Learned Optimism).
Being a cancer survivor brings a bit of wisdom with it, and it is true that it is your memories that sustain you when in a difficult place. So after cancer, at age 49, I started running marathons. Now, having run a (sub 4 hour) marathon in all 50 states – including the NYC one in my Red Sox gear – I know that it is life experiences and the folks you meet while engaged in those moments that are worth way more than fancy cars and gadgets.
Hope y’all will think about a book w/ lots of photos, along with some sidebars from your families and what they were thinking at various junctures!
