How These College Students Transformed Their Dorm Room
Taking a college dorm room from bleak to chic is the newest trend on social media. With the hashtag #transformurdorm, college kids across the United States are posting their impressive makeover skills. Inside Edition met UCLA freshmen who showed how they turned a disaster of a room into an uplifting, stylish living space. “We are here all of the time, we wanted it to feel homey,” Lauren Shaw told Inside Edition. Her roommate Leah Roga says they brainstormed by looking on social media. #InsideEdition
If they brought me back to that room I would definitely be interested in finding out if the rug matches the curtains
they’re practicing their consumer skills
Leah can get the pipe
man I should do this with my roommates when I go to college..
they be getting they backs broken
Oh man, definitely not like every girl with daddy’s money in the dorms does the exact same thing…
Did anyone elsw think there was like hardly any difference?
Hannah’s awesome! LOL
These look like trust fund babies who had their parents pay someone to take the SAT for them to get in… they sound dumber than they look.
Why is this a story? I feel bad for guys nowadays. Fake everything.
Ummm what happens once they leave 😂
That’s really amazing they can do that
R e t a rd s
These dorm rooms look like internment camps and theyre charging 10k to stay there lol
Cool! I’m going to see how fast my car goes in a parking lot
Dude, imagine shelling out thousands for your college education and then finding out it’s three people in what’s basically the size of a prison cell.
I used to sleep on my pile of freshly done laundry on my bed in college
Why a brick wall paper look like they’re in jail bad enough the bunk beds 😂😂😂😂
Plot twist : They filmed this to expose UCLA SMALL ASF dorm rooms.
This is what news was like before 2020
When they take off the stick on wallpaper all of the paint is going to be ripped off with it. My friend had to learn that the hard way.
Then you have to take it all down in 8 months SMH.
🙄
surprised the dorm allowed them to add wallpaper.
also idk how 3 or more ppl sleep in that small of a room. Like my room for two is small compared to if it is a single (same room, less ppl) but I wouldn’t even dorm if it was that small and bunk beds.
Very beautiful!!! Good job girls!!
The brick wall makes it look like jail
Amazing
ppl find a reason to hate on everything smh. they didn’t like their room and they changed it. it looks adorable!! they’re not bothering anybody and there’s no reason to hate
Slow news day?
so what
Looks basic. I’ve seen dorms and barracks rooms way better looking then these
3 of them in that small room ?!?!? when I went to butler CC in Eldorado they had 3 of us each room but it was very spacious and the bathroom was in the room so not sharing a restroom with many other girls was a plus for me
Forget the decorations; that amount of living space for 3 people is atrocious!?!?!? I thought for being such a selective and expensive school that UCLA would be more livable
Is that a dorm or a prison??!
To be honest there’s other college dorms that look better then this
Which one of these heauxs Dad bought them this nonsense piece?
I mean the original room already looked very nice…
Cool
This news clip feels more like a decorating PSA for the early 1960s single and working gal’s apartment ngl.
ok it’s been 3 years i wonder how this room has been holding up..
Why not build a loft and get all the beds above their heads so they have a much bigger living space?!!??!
their parents definitely paid for this
These colleges ain’t right. I watched the big bang theory and they get a better deal. Some get a whole house with roommates. I can’t do one on one , two on two I feel like a zombie.
Good for them! Love to see roommates getting along and creating a fun living space for themselves! Hope these girls remain friends!
It um
K then
Bet y’all knew Payton b too
This room is not built for 3 people to live in.
That rug really ties the room together, man!
(John Goodman voice) "that rug really tied the room together, did it not?"
Drop out of college and start your own business doing interior decorating
