Great advice. Even for me who lives in nz.
one time i went camping like 30 years ago, was 20 or 21, before even knew nor cared about etiquette in the boonies, i layed this huge like foot and half long turd, well turns out i was right on edge of a road and didnt notice… soon as was done and start to walk away, this truck comes around the corner, mom dad and kid…. huge turd first thing they see as come around the corner still hot and fresh….. i know better now of course, but back then i thought it was funny as hell.
If people aren’t prudent, aren’t clean, the right to camp freely will be removed and people will have to register, and perhaps pay.
Perfect 👌 💖🌟
Carolyn I just washed your last videos. You’re such a happy person anyway just wanted to tell you I enjoyed them take care stay safe God bless
Great video I learned a lot about camping in places that you can camp safely and not be trespassing on property you should not be. I like your camper
All good advice
People think human poop is natural but it’s full of bacteria and all kinds of illness causing stuff. If it infects the water, people and animals are effected. If you poop in the woods the rain runoff can send all the germs into nearby water.
I LIKE YOUR HAIR.YOU’RE LOOKING AMAZING!!!!LOVE THE GREY WITH ORANGE SHIRT.
THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT POOP LOL THAT’S REALLY DISGUSTING TO SEE PEOPLES’ CRAP ALL OVER THE PLACE.ABOUT THE ROCK PATHS,I DON’T GET WHAT’S WRONG WITH THAT,IF THE ROCKS ARE ALREADY THERE…WHY CAN’T YOU BE CREATIVE WITH THEM AND MAKE A GARDEN OR A PATH,THEY ARE PART OF NATURE AREN’T THEY?
I AM JUST CURIOUS, WHY YOU SHOULDN’T DO THINGS WITH THE ROCKS? 🙂
Awesome thank you. The video quality is MUCH better. This will help a great deal with lighting, $30 Neewer 43 Inch/110 Centimeter Light Reflector 5-in-1 Collapsible Multi-Disc And 5 home depot .99¢ clamps. I dont know how to do the links. It’ll make the sun in the eyes thing more comfy. And one on the ground to fill the "adams family" shadows under the eyes and nose. Very easy hope it helps love the vids 🙂
Yes most important, just because there’s a fire ring doesn’t mean it’s legal or okay to have a fire especially in California in the summer.
😊👍
We just camped a couple of weeks ago in the Olympic National Forest in a spot where the sites were at the water. Some idiot who must have stayed there quite a bit had a bucket with a seat on it and a huge hole dug for their potty not 15 from the water! I filled it in. Lots of trash also. Such a beautiful place with a family of otters. People Clean Up After Yourselves!!! And don’t put up a portapotty by the water!
Sidenote…..OMG!! U LOOK SOOOOO CUTE WITH UR HAIR IN PIGTAILS.LOVE IT!! XoXo
It’s so easy to wash dishes by spraying them with Vinegar and water without having to dump dishwater. Dry with a towel and put dirty cleaning cloth in a zip back are there better ideas? Thanks for your message, Carolyn!
I wish by just talking about "leave no trace" would do the trick. Perhaps there are those out there who are truly just uninformed but sadly I think we are dealing with many people who just don’t care. What do you do and say that could get them to care? Certainly though thank you for your kind efforts. It’s good to keep trying.
Please, can you tell me a good phone app or website which would let me know the terrain across the United States. I will be travelling alone with a heavy trailer and don’t want to drive in the mountains. I am going from Georgia to Montana…what route would be the best? Thanks so much.
It is so sad Carolyn, that people have to be reminded of common sense. 😢
Thank you 😊
Hi Carolyn and Sadie, Love all your videos i been binge watching your beginning videos your really awesome i am learning so much for you and so right about just follow the rules and pick up after yourself and we are all happy right…I am watching and learning thank you Carolyn for all you do to let all of us have all the information we need..Ok Take Care Be Safe and God Bless Us All.. New name for my soon to be channel . ("Thee Lady GG 62 Year’s Young Waiting For Travels") Gloria. Happy Traveling.
Thanks Caroline for your information. Sandy looks like she’s having a good time in back of you take care stay safe God bless
Love you be safe and happy
I love how you educate people. There’s a real need. Like you I dislike finding other people’s garbage and waste.
Do you have to tell the forest service officials that you are boondocking?
I hate when people spray-paint their names and graffiti all over the trees and rocks or carve up the trees
Great advice.
I’m just starting to learn the lifestyle. I hear you saying, “Don’t throw out your dishwater,” loud and clear. But since you said earlier to stay out of water, how do people bathe/shower when they stay for two weeks?
Thank you! Love ya! Be safe and well! See you next time!😃❤👍
Great information Carolyn 👍
My friend Sandy met you at your meet and great in Tijras. When you are in New Mexico we would love to spend a night or two with you. We also have 3 buddies for Sadie to play with
Yes! Leave No Trace–National Forest people should use this video to teach LNT: "Leave it like you want to see it when you get there."
Wow… 5 1/2 years, I have been watching for a lot of that time and still haven’t gotten out there yet. I am still working toward that goal and nudging my hubby to get on board. I need to make consistent money while traveling. I am working on that too.
Along with the importance of leave no trace…I like Don’t over stay your welcome💕💗❤️

Great advice
I’m a 61 year old man who just bought a smaller new class c. I love your videos. If you can boondock in remote areas so can I. Thank you
Beleaguered the point about taking care of the land way too long. Just beat it and beat it and beat it.
Thank you for all the great information, Carolyn!! I always learn something from your videos!! Now if we can just get everyone on board, what a wonderful world this would be (I’m thinking that is a 1960s song lyric)!! lol Keep enjoying Mother Nature!! ✌🏼
Someone told me that you can’t camp in a 50 footer RV in a national park. It that correct
Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. I need to find & bookmark your video about ‘how to find free camping’
Thank you for being a stellar ambassador to nature🙏
Good Morning from Beatty NV
This was a wonderful video and I learned from it. I hope everyone else will too. We must take care of our planet.
Awww ur cute pigtails 😍
Along with the importance of leave no trace…I like Don’t over stay your welcome💕💗❤️
I rarely have a fire, as I use my backpacking stove, but I recently bought a portable fire pit – a stand with a special mesh that holds all of the ashes and embers. Have not used it yet, nor will I use it until we have had some rain. Thank you for the MVUM info.
great information ty so much for sharing. hugs from lori 🤗
Wowsers your hair is getting really long.
