I personally like the red sofa period and needed a different Decor around it. But when the designers came in not saying that it was horrendous but I didn’t like it at all
the original Coffey table is beautiful.
Boo hiss. Your spool "coffee tables" look more like cat scratching posts.
Horrible!
Ooh no! That zigzag zebra rug gave my eyes some kind of spinning condition! I liked everything but that rug!😷😆😫
I say Nay..
My adventure with woodworking started with Woodglut.
Who just happens to have a newer looking sofa in the basement.
Nah…coffee tables are ugly.
Woodglut has a very large project base.
That red sofa was amazing. They should’ve worked around that smh 🤦🏻♀️
I wish I could think of $125 for ugly cable spools as "next to nothing". And $200 for a used dresser from a thrift store is a ripoff. You can get a brand new one for less.
I would be totally pissed off. This mess is beyond ugly and tacky!! … For whom does construction debris make a design statement? Return my $500 less the cost of the entertainment center and call it a day.
Great makeover! love everything you did. I hope you burned that red sofa.😏
JGM
for not being a picasso that painting behind the sofa was amazing
bummer…i loved the red sofa….could of worked with it as a focal point…white throw pillows on it….off white large liv rm rug..etc….
this is a joke, right?
The coffetables are cheap and ugly!
I hope the homeowners didn’t pay for that
The old look was much more better than the new dull look. Red sofa added color and warmth
Looked better with the Red sofa! Now it’s boring 🙄
How heavy is that pallet piece of art? Where did the side table and lamp go? Why don’t they show the whole living room afterwards? They didn’t show the fireplace. They also didn’t include the rug in the budget.
too typical boring and ugly. I’m so tired of greys, neutrals, white kitchen cabinets and subway tiles. Seems like nobody has an individual/personal or unique sense style anymore. They are clearly incapable of using colour that’s why they got rid of the red couch instead of reusing it in the décor.
Cheap things and people won’t last long. Not durable. They just look nice for a short term but can’t give the comfort we require.
I love the original sofa! Those 3 spools should go on the curb!!!But i do love the artwork!!🤷🙄
I love red sofas i have one but now its worn-out and need upgrades i am up for diys i am on budget
I think the old design had more color and character. I appreciate what they tried to do but to be the redesign is kind of tired and boring. Though the tips they gave, other than about the spare couch, can be very useful if you’re wanting to be creative.
No, I did not look the industrial tables. But the dresser was nice, and so was the red sofa, if it was decorated differently. This was a nice change, but the "coffee tables" no way. 🙂
$500 ?
well agree they prob swapped the sofas from basement. put red down there. which is smart. liked the art work the most. didn’t like the wheel tables at all. just yuck. to tall.
I just listed: Macsen Lift Top Floor Shelf Coffee Table with Storage, for $284.99 via @amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08RHH23VL/ref=cx_skuctr_share?smid=A2Y1OD52SF3R2H
Cheap!! I need to take out a mortgage to afford all that.
Spools yukky
2020, an the FINISHED look, still looking like BS
Very boring finish! Most designers do not know how to use colour so they prefer the safety of neutrals.
.
The before was so much prettier. They think the red sofa dominates the room? Nothing dominates like those big white cable spools. They are so out of scale and ugly it looks like some sort of construction project is going on. Big rustic pieces of wood on the wall have been done on HGTV a hundred times. They need to hire some new decorators.
You can tell they are not used to design on a budget… the room doesn’t look better, there’s just no red couch.
Vomit. Seriously. I loathe those spools , burn them before I melt
JGM
Coffee table is ugle. Painting is besutiful
just google Woodglut :))
Good room
N it looks like what u paid. I like the red sofa before. But then again I love red.
Yeah most people don’t have a whole damn sectional sitting around
I like the red sofa.. 😐
That red sofa was actually looking very nice and I didn’t get why these people found the decor boring..
Sorry but it looks so ugly.
hebathung.no man the Coffey tables no man. pls pls don’t do tht to other ppl s homes.what do u call tht.thts so disappointing.
