Love your channel and the contents that you present! You have a wonderful calming tone when you meticulously explain your design composition. Love that! However, I’m a bit disappointed that we only get to see close-up glimpses of your decor accessories and never get to see the completed rooms in their entirety. Your videos leave me wanting more. I would like to get a feel of your design’s scale, color scheme and balance. Please consider showing us the entire room, before and after.

Hey lady Z. I loved all the tips you gave. I want to spruce up our mean bathroom, but it just gets overwhelming because it’s all tiles from ceiling to floor. But I’m still going to try and turn it into a space I would enjoy using tfs.

I have to tell you that my Aunt and her husband had that same tile in their bathroom for years and years and also switched everything up about a year ago. I loved the nostalgic look but it would be hard to live with it. Great job!!! xo

Good morning it is a beautiful day where I live as well ,my biggest hurdle for creating the home that I want is my style my style is eclectic I tend to buy items that I like rather than they go with my style but I would say that my style is transitional. I really liked how you placed your items in your bathroom you definitely utilized all of its space . I do like older homes they tend to have more style because a new home is so cookie cutter. Yes the Mamie Eisenhower pink bathroom, it was very popular. I lived in a house with my husband in the 1980’s that was all blue, I hated it, LOL I wanted the avocado or Harvest gold that was in then, Just think how far we have come. Everything you do is beautiful.
The thing I hate about nailing things to the wall is the risk of hitting wiring! You never know where the wiring is in an older home and I worry about damaging wires and starting a fire. Fortunately there are a lot of alternatives these days to nails!

Morning Zakiyya, ooh la la, that is really lovely. I absolutely love the white smooth containers, they are very smart. You have covered the spaces well, the wooden boards match the travertine floor beautifully. The fixtures are very important, buy the best you can afford, with the steam in there you do not have the time to wipe down everything each time the bathroom is used. The plain white tiles work a charm, they always come up sort of in fashion whereas trendy tiles and colours can become a problem, not all like those heavy pink tiles, I know pink and black are good colour matches but in the correct area. Let’s just be polite and acknowledge that we do not all have the same taste, alas, there is no such thing as bad taste, what seems like Kitsch to us is just that person’s preference to something beautiful. Strange world we live in, we are all created differently hence we have to respect each other’s choices. I prefer the boys to do for me, I really do not have the confidence in doing my own d.i.y anymore, it is good for me to know I can rely on them, I just have to "encourage" them at intervals!
