Winter is so cold and dark here in the north. Living in a rental basement apartment, what little there is of sunlight isn’t doing much for me, so I got a bunch of lamps with RGB bulbs placed in strategic corners. Much nicer than having only gloomy ceiling lights! Good lighting is key to staying in a good mindset I think.

i like to use fairy lights! light from a single lamp is too intense for me at night. i bought a 10 meter one from aliexpress a couple of years ago, very cheap, the wire is basically invisible and it has a usb port so i dont have to use batteries, just plug it into a charging base. lots of warm soft light + easy to storate when moving places

Also don’t have the Bulb too close to the curtain, I have heard of several people who have caught cloth on fire because it was too close to the bulb.
