What is the length of the brads used, assuming you have 1/2 flooring and 1/2 drywall?

Why would you want laminate on you floor let alone on your walls?!

  18. Audrey Ellis on August 15, 2021 at 10:27 pm

If there is paneling on the wall how to prepare it so you can use planks

  19. gohdux on August 15, 2021 at 10:28 pm

May I add the following advice. I did this on a basement wall. It wasn’t easy because the wall wasn’t perfectly flat. What I ended up doing as it became apparent was I zinged off the tongue. This way the laminate was free to move in and out. This may be unnecessary for you but for me it was the solve. Start with at the top. Mark your studs on the ceiling also.

  23. Tim Ward on August 15, 2021 at 10:31 pm

Isn’t it funny how, just a few years ago, designers and common folk condemned that "ugly paneling" from the 1960’s as "soooooo dated"? Now, the same people run basically the same thing horizontally on a wall and talk about how beautiful it is.

  24. shelzmike on August 15, 2021 at 10:33 pm

And it only takes $500 in silicone. That 100% is expensive!

Makes me wonder why it’s called laminate flooring. But thats Americans for we have the putting the tv on walls thanks to them. This why we have tv cabinets or tv stands thats why tv’s are supplied with legs. It would been much easier to use a wood design wallpaper lol 😂

You say the wall should be vertical. When is a wall not vertical? If its horizontal, its either a floor or a ceiling.
