After spending a hot second in Utah, Anna, Mariah, and I made our way to Jackson Hole, Wyoming to meet up with our forth and fifth van(also RV) life ladies. Carly (+Scout) and Samantha joined the crew and made our little van village feel complete, and we spent the week hiking, making bullet journals, enjoying Anna and Samantha’s cooking, and talking late into the evenings. I honestly can’t believe how quickly and seamlessly I transitioned from feeling so lonely on the road to being surrounded by such incredible women. I can’t wait for what’s in store!

Man, this is pretty cool. I wish it didn’t have to be just girls though. I’m starting van life and I hope to find more of an intermingled group of men and women who are building community. See you all on the road though! This is inspiring!
Being a music producer the same is done in that community. The whole internet has really been useful for the amount of friends that I have and can visit all around the world. It’s amazing and it is really beneficial and it feels good once you are that known, to know, that no matter where you go there are people you know and can meet and build relationships with. Some are very shallow friendships… but others you go deep and are drawn together. It is nice I agree with that. I’m excited about van life. I’ve been involved with nothing but the music industry and Web Development/Software Engineering industry for a long time. It’s going to be nice to meet people in other areas of interest.
I love that you got distracted by and had to stop and check out the wild flowers! I do that too and people usually think I’m kinda nutty.

The First time anyone has mentioned mosquitoes!! I Hate them! So itchy and bloody! How is it most van people don’t seem to encounter them?? Are there some terrains that don’t have them? It has been a big concern as I contemplate spending time in a van…..

I am just loving your videos! I used to watch (and still do) vanlife videos mainly to see the builds but I enjoy just seeing what you get up to. When I was 19 I spent part of the summer of 1977 at Jackson Hole in a friend’s 1957 stepvan. It was like walking into a postcard! Except for the mosquitoes. At dusk they literally blanketed the windows and blotted out the light.
They would fly a cropduster to spray over the area to keep the mosquitoes down. I remember the guy on the radio reported that there were about 114 different species of mosquito in that area and it was a big issue.
Now I just turned 63 and am preparing to buy a van and hit the road solo next spring and try to make it on a minuscule budget.
Jackson Hole is probably the first place I will return to experience that wonder again.

Amazing landscapes! So stunning in beauty and add to that so many very attractive young women in vans and boisterous dogs traveling with them. What is it with all these smoking hot single girls in vans all of them accompanied by adorable dogs?!?!? You never would have imagined it!!!!

Meditation can definitely help with anxiety but as you likely know it’s not a one sitting and you’re free cure. (Nothing is…no meds, etc.)
But I can say with experience it can change your life.

I remember the moment the first time I saw the Tetons! Enjoy each and every moment of your journey, adventure, life, experience all the feels, in the end they are the things you will take with you. See as much as as you can see with your own eyes, breathe as much fresh air as you can from each place you visit, be in the environment, feel the warmth of sunshine, the chill of the air, experience the winds as birds or flowers do…….it’s only one planet see as and experience as much of it as you can. I was motorcycling in Canada, when boy came up to me, saying his name was same as name on my helmed! Asked his rich father to let me ride with them to Calgary stampede! From there we went through Yellowstone an onto Jackson Hole! We asked another biker to join us to restaurant then to share room for night! This biker had a guitar on bike asked me to join him for some music! He gave me one of best concerts! We took entire restaurant customers to movie (Steve McQueen/Ali movie) cool times in Jackson Hole!

Hi Maddie, your videos are so relaxing. The music is so relaxing. The photos of the scenery is beautiful. You are a good video photographer. Your voice is so calm. I like your stories. I like your dog. This is the kind of video I’ve been looking for for months just to relax. You should leave some of the bloopers in, it would be funny, and most of them aren’t that bad, or bad at all. Just get rid of the damn ads and it would be perfect. Oh, and be very careful with your dog. Keep an eye on her and stay close. Wild animals can come out of nowhere and attack. You don’t know what’s around when you are in an unfamiliar area, and for you that’s always. I’m in the city 5 minutes from Cleveland and we’ve got cyotes!! I never see them but people have been putting messages and pictures like crazy on this web site, next door. So now I can’t let my cats out any more. They found a dead deer on the next street that they were sure a cyote got.
