Installing DuraLux Luxury HP Highland Grey Salvage Waterproof Vinyl Plank Flooring

#TXDashcovers..#LarrySbrusch. How to install Duralux High Performance Highland Grey Salvage waterproof vinyl plank flooring

I am not a professional installer, but I found it to be very easy to install with little or limited knowledge

The product locked in place very easily and the finish was fantastic

Most of you might use professional tools, but I find that a good solid wood block and a hammer does a fine job as long as you start the first few rolls of flooring straight as possible..that is very important.. Also keep a small gap on all 4 sides of flooring making sure it does not shift during installation

We bought this exact style and brand today. how is it holding up? Also what do you mean by heated floors? Should we purchase the water barrier? We will be installing on concrete.

Also what did you use to cut the flooring?

NO VAPOR BARRIER, PLASTIC DEAD BLOW HAMMER, CORRECT TAPPING TOOLS, KNEE PADS, WEIGHTS TO KEEP FLOOR IN PLACE, PLASTIC SHIMS FOR WALL AND FLOOR PLACEMENT…

Becareful when installing the "Performance" design because ends are very fragile and can permenantly bend up. Do not lock the ends in and tilt the piece toward the end because that bends that top lip permenantly. Notice how he tilts the piece toward the long stronger edge.

I found some of this in my local thrift store for $2 a box. Unfortunately they only had a couple of boxes but I’ll try it on a small area.

Knee pads $10. They are well worth the money.
