I need a good handyman like this in my life!!
I would have put a small bevel on the ends of the baseboard where they meet the door casings. Gives a cleaner look with a nice reveal, and you don’t have to worry about them being flush.
Nice job. I just hope my flor guy dose this good of a job. Are the tools mentioned here standard for the professionals?
Thank You!!!!!!
Do you have a video on laying wood floor over concrete? I really need a video on that.
Like omg gurl
That’s a super video! I’m considering installing American Cherry in a few rooms and the information you provided is very helpful. Would you please tell me about how many square feet you installed in the video and about how long it took to layout and nail down the flooring? It looks like you completed that part of the job in a single day. Thanks again for the excellent info! Much appreciated!
careful at the finish gun, 12:09 13:40 look at the angle you are trying to use the finish gun , you should somehow be at 45degrees with your floor…. The flooring , in this video should be installed from left to right , not the way you did it…
sick of long intros, just get to the point and show me how to so hardwood floors, i dont care about your room or your life story
Great job and video! Very thorough without being too long winded.
You’re doing too much pulling off the trim around the door, use a fein tool to cut it the the right height with a scrap piece of the floor, that way you don’t have to play carpenter later on
Great video!
Beautiful!
Very nice knee enhancers. Did you have any issues with expansion after nailing down the boards?
Pls tell me how does it take to install whole room
No need to remove, trim from the door

I’m always very cautious listening to advice from youtubers who have all brand new tools.
Excellent video, the best I’ve seen. Gave me confidence to tackle my guest rooms. Subscribed!
what is the program (software) you use to draw rooms
It looks like you made that way harder than it needed to be. But solid looking floor
6:54 weird flex, but ok..
thanks so much for all the detail sharing, I am planning to do the same thing to my dining room
Left, to rights, next time
*As an amateur with woodworker, I typically feel overpowered with the entire arrangement. Be that as it may, this arrangements drove me through with much clarity and effortlessness **woodplans.works** I now work like a genius. That is great!*
Thank you very help full
My 125 year old house has its original hardwood floors with no vapour barrier underneath and itโs absolutely perfect
Cool video , now if I need to install wood flooring over concrete surface what do you do different since there is no subfloor to nail the wood into ? Plus is the moisture barrier still needed ? Thanks
Well first thing fist was not mentioned , the underpayment was not mentioned is it felt, plastic, vinyl ?????
The side of the trimming is brown how you get rid of it. This is very basic and seems like an amateur job I donโt like it. There were great tips though
Chasing Tone intro music… I tip my hat to you sir. Nice information
Bruh. Heavy scraper gets all the staples up in 30 seconds I canโt believe you plucked them all by hand ๐ Floor looks great tho ๐
Awesome video, very to-the-point and easy to follow. I plan on putting hardwood in a few rooms soon and this helped a lot.
Any one want to do a project in SOUTHEAST OF London ?
11:37, sorry for what happened on your arm
Hopefully all those nice, clean tools have some dirt on them by now. ๐
How much can you charge for a job like this ?
Nice hand gouge. Where you feeding a lion?
great video, thanks!
Hi, plastic under hardwood floors ??? Isnโt that going to trap water if you spill? A ruin the floors ? Tnku
I am surprised you didn’t put down any quarter round trim at the base of your bottom molding. It would hide any unevenness between the floor and your base molding.
Thank you for that. Iโm going to do my floors as well, your tutorial is indepth
I donโt even own a house yet but now I am kinda eager to lay some flooring!
You are also laying out the wrong way to
As a 10 year installer we put plastic then felt paper to reduce all moisture
Watching you do one row at a time is painful ๐

More than 1,000 irreplaceable ancient woods have been threatened by development over the last 10 years.
And there are weak levels of legislative protection for our most precious woods. Dwindling grant funding is adding to the pressure.

You lost me at shimming with shingles. This is the problem with "DIY" people hack stuff together. DO NOT follow this advice fix your damn floor!
You can drive a nail set into the subfloor and use it to pry the pieces together. Ive never used a jack personally
I enjoy watching your video. I subscribed to watch more videos. Thanks for sharing your technique.
