Interior Design – A Sophisticated Country House With Traditional Decor
Go inside a gorgeous country home by designer Trish Johnston. See how she uses layers of texture, traditional elements and a neutral palette to create a cozy and soothing escape.
Since the house is in the country, Trish brought the outdoors in. Grey, white, black and bursts of green create a calm and clean feel. A variety of textures work together, like slate stone flooring, pine flooring, rock, timber and linen. Trish divided the open-concept space by creating zones with furniture to mimic where the walls would have been. A large sofa sections off the great room while a wrought-iron chandelier adds wow-factor. In addition to a white kitchen, the home boasts a servery that acts as a second kitchen with tons of storage.

Grey grey grey, I am so sick of grey, when grey goes out it will become more repulsive to us all than 1980’s mahogany, by 2016 I was over it, and here we are in 2020 with covid, and grey still here. If people had just done a little grey here and there with accessories, but they have went the whole hog and done kitchens, floors bathrooms etc, it will cost a fortune to replace it all. Have designers no imagination, every room in every house looks the same…GREY! I’m even ready to embrace magnolia again, just get rid of the dam grey.
Years ago I studied colour therapy, and grey traditionally was used in schools and offices, think back to old computers, and war ships, they were grey, that was because the brain is grey, and they believed that grey work places would make us all more industrious, big businesses have known this for decades, so ask yourself why the powers that be are still flat out promoting every room in your home to be grey?
This decor is like a black and white photo with wood. Fairly colorless.

There cannot be a dream house more than one can expect it to be like this which is a countryside lifestyle for country home in a countryside place consisting of pure leisure and no rules to live life as it is a mess of ideas that fill the world with nothing important about lifestyles which mean to live life in a certain way.
Can some take this house, and build another one exactly like it, but half the size please and thank you

It is so warm and inviting until you realize there are no side tables flanking the sofas. Where do you set down your coffee or drink- the coffee table is in the center of the room and you would have to stand up and walk to it. The rest is beautiful!

今年，在其它国家忙于应对疫情之际，中共在台湾、香港、南中国海与印度边境的咄咄逼人做法更令西方世界警觉。例如，越来越多的国家宣布将“华为”5G排除在电信系统建设之外。美国、加拿大与欧盟一致认为，中共是世界自由价值观的主要挑战者。

O’Brien）演讲表示，美国已经醒来，看清自身过去对中共的认识错误，看清了中共是对美国及盟国的最大威胁。他说：“二零零一年我们以巨大的让步和优惠贸易条件欢迎中共加入世界贸易组织；我们淡化中共的人权迫害，包括天安门事件；我们对中共广泛的技术偷窃视而不见，肢解了美国的整体经济。在中共变得富足和强大的同时，我们却相信中共会自由化、会满足让中国人民享有民主的愿望”。

Tone of wood floors, jute area rug, two white couches, round farm style coffee table, same wood mantle on fireplace, kitchen pendants, chandelier, kitchen cabinet color. Granted, my house is not this large and grand, but now I am feeling like I may have gotten the decor right. 😃 💃🏻
