Where you sleep at night and where you relax should be your sanctuary! Today I will show you how I designed my master bedroom and why I chose a fully monochromatic scheme. I love dusty rose and I tried to bring varying shades of dusty rose into my bedroom. From my upholstered custom art deco bed, to my decorative pillows, to my chandelier and also to my seating areas. Everything you see is monochromatic. I also love having a bench at the bottom of my bed as it helps hold all the accessories from your bed at night so you can sleep comfortably. My favorite kind of curtain is a ripple fold and you will see how I used a simple rose ripple fold satin curtain in my bedroom that looks luxurious and wears very well. My favorite items are also my vintage finds!. I love my vintage Frederick Cooper table lamps I purchased from ebay. One my all time design hacks is to place side tables by the bed instead of nightstands because they are they tend to be much more useful. The ones I sourced in my bedroom were from an estate sale where the house was completed in the 80’s and they are just perfect for the space. They are of course laminated in pink! I hope you enjoy this episode and as always please let me know below your thoughts and what other great design ideas you have for future episodes.
xx

  10. Kirin A. on August 5, 2021 at 9:35 pm

Thank you for sharing your personal space, I agree with you my bedroom is my private space also
. So many good tips. I love that this video highlights my favorite color. Dusty rose and blush pinks, they are so under rated and timeless! ❤️ your room just gave me the strength to go back to clear lucite legs for the floating look on some of my furniture. Also the end table idea and the bench with good bones add some paint and a cushion and boom! New piece that reflects the feeling I want in my space.

  11. Victoria Love on August 5, 2021 at 9:36 pm

Gorgeous! Learned some great tips as well.

  12. Tracilyn Hidalgo on August 5, 2021 at 9:36 pm

Why do all these beds look so short?

  13. Dana on August 5, 2021 at 9:37 pm

Beautiful but my eye kept going to the curtains for the wrong reasons. Is that a pulled seam or badly sewn down the middle? Sorry but that would drive me insane in an otherwise gorgeous room.

  14. Jodi Berry on August 5, 2021 at 9:37 pm

This is lovely ! What was the square footage?

  15. Heather Hancock on August 5, 2021 at 9:39 pm

Nina, Lovely Master Bedroom Suite! And speaking of beautiful skin, wr"ink"les are caused number one by the ink we are eating in our foods, for example, A colored cupcake with multicolored sprinkles. Most people do not realize the coloring/ink they put in our foods is the same ink in a pen. Tatoos will also make you age because of the ink going into your skin daily. They even put ink in our perfumes, I still use perfume but I mostly spray it on my clothing rather then directly on skin. Also be careful of chemicals in your food, another thing that breaks down collagen. Plump up the skin with organic collagen foods, I drink bone broth loaded with collagen rather then tea or coffee. Eat a lot of FAT, fat does not make you fat, infact it keeps you thin and gives the skin a very youthful look. Jesus showed me these things years ago when I used to think fat was the enemy. I must sound the alarm, Jesus is coming back very soon, won’t your accept his free offer of salvation before its too late?

Quite a spectacular master bedroom. I am in the process of creating my master bedroom. My colors are lavender and ivory. I like the peace and tranquility these colors bring to this space.
