Susan Dyer, storeowner of Advice from a Caterpillar, has been collecting Christmas ornaments for 25 years. She shares a peek inside her warm and inviting home, all decorated for the holiday season.
Susan’s home has four stunning Christmas trees, each decorated in its own unique way. The one in the living room is her favorite, which is outfitted with ornaments that have sentimental value. The front hall displays a large Christmas tree decked out with handmade crafts and vintage ornaments with an emphasis on red and green. A delicate silver feather tree in the kitchen sits atop the window ledge, while a small one in the TV room is decorated with ornaments from the ’40s and ’50s. So, so beautiful!!! Wonderfully imaginative collection of ornaments and Christmas trees. Some so elegant and others so whimsical. Each tree had its own unique character and fit in so beautifully in its particular room. Absolutely loved this gracious, warm, and elegant home. Loved the pastel tones of the walls and furnishings and the gold mirrors. So soothing to look at and such a happy change from the sterile black and white people are so fond of these days. The home owner seemed so refined and gracious. Thank you.
