Interior Design – Tour of an Amazing Muji-Inspired Themed Design in a HDB located in Punggol Central

In this video, we take you on home tour inside a resale HDB flat located in Punggol Central, Singapore, where our interior design team did extensive redesign and renovation works to it. Find out what goes on behind the scenes and have peek of the interior design process! Entrusted with designing a Muji-inspired theme design that comprises of 3 main core values:

1) Selection of materials
2) Streamlining of processes
3) Simplification of packages

Taking inspiration from these core values, we used a play of only 2 types of laminate colours for this entire home of 1184 square feet.

The challenge for this hdb interior design project, as mentioned in the video is its triangular-ish layout with various odd angles and corners, and a major cry for storage space. This was a challenge for us as for this theme, it is to be an airy and open design. However, it is never in our team’s spirit to give up! With these challenges, find out in this video how we re-created this Muji-inspired themed home that has met all our clients’ space requirement but still maintaining the essence of our favourite Japanese label’s iconic design style.
