I think deeper mantle would look so elegant over there. I’m not digging the gallery wall to the right of the fireplace. It looks off in the space. I think a tall faux plant or tree would look great there instead. Also, a much taller mirror would look better over the mantle. The one you have there looks so squatty in that tall space. Good job on the refresh on the front porch. Nice planters and florals!

Just a thought on that fireplace section. I would play with hight there to bring the eye up. Maybe a super tall mirror with an antiqued glass can work with the color of your artwork. You can still do the sconces, but make that section tall.

Large artwork over foyer piece was perfect! Stairway artwork was also the finishing touch. Did you redo the stairs by encasing the old railings in new wood front trim? If yes, I would love to know more about how that was done!

I love it! but this time I think the mirror you choose for the fire place is to small (Short)considering the wall is double heigh.
I love the mirror on top of the fireplace but it is really too much with the two mirrors behind the diningtable, because you see them in one look.

Something I saw on a decorating show here in Canada years ago …. the designer suggested changing out some small pieces like pillows, throws, etc. for Spring/ and Fall Winter. She also changed out some seasonal artwork. My main decor in the living room and dining room is grey/cream/white. For October to the end of March I use mustard coloured accessories and from April to end of September I use blush coloured accessories. I love how it looks different and refreshed just by switching out small pieces.
