  10. Iberian Lion on December 26, 2020 at 12:31 am

The middle ground is to hand wash your jeans in cold water 😉.

  11. Kris R on December 26, 2020 at 12:32 am

Wash them only once or every other week or whenever they got super dirty only. I have my wrangler pants for 8years

Yeah right!!! I guess that would work for a trust fund child that only sits in an office. If they did not let the quality go down hill, washing them would not be an issue.

In 2020 mens Levis jeans are made so badly and they have the nerve to charge £100 for them. The slim fits have excess material flapping around the knee area and are uncomfortable around the mid-rift because not enough room to move and its a struggle to get in to the pocket, the tapered slim fit are way too short + wide on the mid-rift/ waist area which gives you a feeling of them slipping off the bum, and the calves area is too tight. Tapered slim fit are supposed to be same as slim fit on the thigh (which they’re not, they’re a bit tighter) and narrower under the knee going down (which they are but way too much), as well as meant to be giving you more room on the mid-rift which they only achieve by making the waist 2 sizes too big. The fits are never right unless you have the unique shape which fits their badly made jeans. And for every size/material/colour of one particular style, the jeans all dramatically vary in waist size and how they fit on the leg. The only way i found to make Levi’s jeans fit decent is by buying the skinny fit a size or 2 above your normal size, but then you struggle to lift your leg because not stretchy enough. Seems they can’t make modern jeans so they should slash their prices by half (and make jeans which can be washed!)

I’m a country boy. I chuck them in the machine and call it a day. I am fine with the dryer but I prefer to line dry. I live in Central Florida so this is available year around.

  19. Jokanaan on December 26, 2020 at 12:37 am

I don’t have room in my goddamn freezer for my goddamn jeans

  21. Tiger Loves Tech on December 26, 2020 at 12:44 am

  25. 420pimpin on December 26, 2020 at 12:47 am

This advice should only be taken for raw denim (selvedge) or some vintage, super high quality stuff. Daily jeans can and should be washed. When talking about daily jeans, it’s more of a hassle to freeze them or do all that other nonsense than it is to just wash and eventually replace them. Super annoying they said “dOn’T wAsH yOuR LeVi’S” cause what they’re talking about doesn’t even apply to 99% of their product.

  26. JRTG on December 26, 2020 at 12:50 am

We wash our jeans to age them. Otherwise, it’s stupid to buy tattered acid dyed jeans when you can use your old ones.

  27. Alyeah on December 26, 2020 at 12:51 am

I have new fashion nova jeans and my old pair is faded and ripped in the back and that’s from one year of wearing them almost everyday

  28. Football Tactics on December 26, 2020 at 12:51 am

So they are promoting lack of basic hygiene.

    Oh boy humans are devolving

  35. Appl604 on December 26, 2020 at 1:01 am

Levis ceo said something dumb over the internet and paid a whole bunch of ppl to play it off

  36. Samantha Bell on December 26, 2020 at 1:02 am

cotton denim looks best when its worn, the fabric softens and isnt stiff, it drapes in a much more flattering way. That’s whats nice about getting Levis secondhand, they’re already soft and comfortable and at that point the fit doesn’t change

  37. MNm on December 26, 2020 at 1:03 am

So pretty much we shouldn’t wash them cause they’re made badly

  38. Patriot Logic on December 26, 2020 at 1:03 am

These wimps don’t work or play like a real man! Denim is for working real Americans!

  39. Jack Stang on December 26, 2020 at 1:04 am

Handwash with bath soap or hair shampoo.. NEVER put into washing machine..
    Slightly rub,gentle with medium brush..
    Rinse properly..
    Don’t tumble dry after wash..
Hanging with the hanger until no water drip…
and dry it inside your room ..with air flows from the fan..

Your jeans will looks new and fresh even after 2 years wearing ..

  41. ray sha on December 26, 2020 at 1:05 am

Doesn’t apply if you’re from Africa. We deal with dust & sometimes mud everywhere. So you really can’t go a whole month without washing them!

  42. Mohd Noor on December 26, 2020 at 1:06 am

True story..u can asking jeans collection..no one wash the jeans

  43. NYC Ruthless on December 26, 2020 at 1:07 am

*Oh nice, i only wash my jeans once a year.*

  44. Steroid Sp on December 26, 2020 at 1:07 am

TIL the CEO of Levi’s says that you are never supposed to wash your jeans. Instead, spot clean them with a toothbrush, or toss them into a freezer. https://trend.financesheff.site/today-i-learned/til-the-ceo-of-levis-says-that-you-are-never-supposed-to-wash-your-jeans-instead-spot-clean-them-with-a-toothbrush-or-toss-them-into-a-freezer/

I’m gonna stop wiping my ass too.

  46. El Largan on December 26, 2020 at 1:11 am

Well I’ve got thrifted (pre used) Levi’s both the 501’s in black and the 511’s in mid blue and the 501’s are already worn down a little from the previous owner which I actually prefer but still durable and the rest of the colour is still there and my 511’s are more new but again still durable and the colour is still good so I’m good thanks I actually like to have clean clothes.

  47. Mandula Abogada on December 26, 2020 at 1:11 am

I would advise everybody to listen to the CEO of Levi jeans.

  48. Europa on December 26, 2020 at 1:13 am

Freezing jeans obviously prevents bacteria from multiplying. This isn’t rocket science.
