Your office is coming along nicely! I’d love to know where you got your bar cart, the crafting cart/storage, and your double metal/glass bookshelves! It’s just my style — so pretty.

I have been so worried about your kids in Houston,as well as the townhome, which I assumed had not closed yet.So a huge relief there. I wanted to ask, but thought I should wait until you wanted to tell us. Love your room…it will find its own over time.

I am so thankful that your children are ok. Oh your office looks terrific! ย I really like it a whole lot. ย Please take care and my best wishes to all your loved ones in Houston. ย Much love, Melissa

Is this the apartment that you showed us several weeks ago?

  7. Donna677 on February 8, 2022 at 10:29 pm

Hi I’m new here and just following along a bit. I guess you have been through some big changes! How amazing you left Houston right before the hurricane…life is so unpredictable and if we don’t go with it….we are left spinning in circles. Glad your family is ok…best to you!

    Welcome to Alabama!

You, and your family were the first people I thought of when I first heard about the hurricane in Texas. So, so scary. Ok, I thought of something when you asked for suggestions. I do not know wide your shelving unit is, but wondered if you could put it behind your love seat, and put the printer on the bottom shelf? Just a thought, but I do like it when it is in the background of your videos. Many blessings..MaryEllen

Congrats on selling your townhome in Houston. Loving your new hair cut! Your office area turned out really nicely. You got a lot done! xoxo, Johnna

  11. Angelina Strawn on February 8, 2022 at 10:40 pm

Hey Teri, have you tried putting the love seat where the shelving unit is?? Maybe angling the rug? Just a thought ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜‰

The room looks a lot better, and fun to fix up. It’s a nice space for an office and filming. I’m glad you’re family is okay in Houston.

You don’t want to use you bar cart like a coffee, hot chocolate, tea cart, and then get an inexpensive print from Home Goods that says something about tea, coffee, and hot chocolate time. They have some really cute things there. I love your desk by the window. Great vlog.

  15. Dinahsoar on February 8, 2022 at 10:47 pm

I’d give the room a salon look. LOVE that blue settee! Love that corner. What I see over it is a huge picture of the Eiffel Tower/Paris b/c I think it needs black and white, and that settee says Paris salon to me. You might drape a longer table cloth to cover the legs of the folding table; although I think a long table would work better there, vs a square one. I like your desk in front of the widow; and that chandelier is perfect in there; says salon to me, LOL. Your office will look great when you get it finished. Can’t wait to see your art.

The tablecloth on your card table…I just saw a monthly 2018 calendar at Dollar Tree (it had a spiral top) in a similar black and white pattern.

Moving is hard work. Looks like you are getting settled. Glad your family is safe in TX.

So glad you got out before the hurricane. I spent part of my day sorting clothes from our church donation room that will be packed up tomorrow evening. We are having a "packing party" instead of our usual Wednesday night church activities. Wesley Chapel Nissan is sending a truck to Texas full of all kinds of donated items. And now, here we Floridians are getting ready for Irma to possibly hit us!

Praying for Houston. We had to evacuate during Irma. Thankfully we have our power back and our house is in one piece. You are so right..one step at a time. Wow…you did a lot in the time that you spent. I love what you did Teri! By the way, I bought The Circle Maker. Looking forward to reading it! Lots of love…Laura

Teri, again I am sooo glad your family is okay…..will continue to pray for all and your friends who got water damage to their homes. I am soo happy for you that you are getting settled…..I love that you have an office or space to call your own…..you have done a wonderful job it will look great as you put your lovely pics on the wall etc. This is just some thoughts….the printer if you have a box or tub you can cover with that same material as the card table you could put it to the side of your desk where you have that stripled box and it would look nice and yet not have a place of display like you said lol if that makes sense…..I love the idea of the area for your art work how fun and I think it looks great with that lovely material on it…..I would see if that could fit angled to the side of your desk even if you had to put the printer on the other side that way you would have that wall for your chairs if you plan on putting them in there. Whatever you end up doing I know you will enjoy and love it…..it is neat and beautiful and functional…..and I always ask myself…..who really is going to use the space and how many people will be seeing it…….it will all work out as you work in there…..can’t wait to see what your working on……I am a little jealous I want a room to myself.lol I have taken a space in my girls bedroom but I keep it a bedroom for when they come to visit so for now I’ll be happy for my makeup desk which I use for reading and coloring.lol Hope you have a great week…..love your hair…..xoxo….Debbie

The hardest part of moving, trying to put it all together again! Lookin good though! The printer placement is always a dilemma. It’s important but we don’t want to see it. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜„

  23. Debra Winslow on February 8, 2022 at 11:07 pm

Teri, I love your videos, and just subscribed. I am so glad to hear you and your family are safe! You have a wonderful room for your new office. For above your sofa, maybe a piece of your own art, or possibly a print by Monet of water lilies or something peaceful (framed in black to tie in with carpet).

  24. Dianne on February 8, 2022 at 11:08 pm

Happy your family is ok and safe~ Teri, I didn’t know you moved again??!!?? A job change/transfer??

  25. jeannie cheramie on February 8, 2022 at 11:08 pm

Glad y’all are safe ! Thank you for sharing the room is coming together nicely ! Hope you have a very blessed day

  26. Dianne D Ballard on February 8, 2022 at 11:09 pm

Teri why don’t you use the end table as an end table by the blue upholstered piece and use the bar cart for the printer and storage underneath placing it where the printer is?ย  If you could see my studio you would think your office was spotless. LOL By the way, love the haircut!

  27. gentle breeze on February 8, 2022 at 11:15 pm

You’ve done great in a short amount of time Teri. I’m impressed. ๐Ÿ‘

  28. Cheryl Ann Johnson on February 8, 2022 at 11:17 pm

So glad everyone is safe in your family. Nice room Teri and I can’t wait to see what you do with it. Moving (as you know) just takes time to settle into comfort in a new home. It will happen…and then you’ll change it again. I do all the time!

  29. Just Jennifer on February 8, 2022 at 11:17 pm

I am so happy to hear that you and your family are safe. So many blessings to be grateful for!! Your office is an amazing space! It already looks very nice and will only get better with time. xo

  30. Rebecca Magel on February 8, 2022 at 11:19 pm

Hi Terri! So happy to see your video today. Have you tried moving your card table to where the shelf is, shelf to where the sofa is, and sofa to where the card table was? Just a thought! I know whatever you decide it will be fabulous!! Glad to hear all your friends and family in Texas are safe.
