PO Box requires a home address, either a lease stating you have leased a street address or the deed to a house. The government doesn’t allow homeless people to get mail, yet we can buy their worthless stamps.

UPS store is the best way to go. It’s a physical address so you can use it for car registration, insurance, taxes, ordering online, registering to vote, getting a new job, etc…

ups mailbox, i doubt you can get mail from usps tho.. if someone sends you with usps, i dont think usps will go inside ups and put it in their mailbox. everything you buy, youd need to make sure the shipper is ups

Not sure exactly how it works, but Colorado has flexible residency requirements for people who live a nomadic lifestyle. It allows you to maintain things like car registration, etc without a permanent physical address. Maybe it includes a legal address? IDK.

I’m moving out very soon from my apartment to my suv, and I’ve already applied for a PO BOX. Can I put my USPS address where my PO Box is located if I’ll apply for auto insurance? If applying for a job? Etc…etc… should you notify that USPS branch that you’re using their address as your physical and mailing address?
What if your driver’s license needs renewed and the state needs proof of residency? I’m trying to figure this out myself

Almost all bills paper less – only problem is P.O. Box because dmv might have a problem if I want to register a car, will dmv let me use P.O. Box ? Legalize it 👍

The UPS "street address" myth did not work in my case which included government mail and my bank. They assured me otherwise but they were wrong.

Anyone on a fixed income requires an actual physical home address. Or you dont get approved or you can lose your benefits. They are very stricked. They have to know everything. I guess since its a government thing. Being poor or homeless in the current times. Is tough and near impossible even though its doable. Getting an ID, driver’s license, social security card, birth certificate. Also require a physical address and several recent proofs too.

There’s also Amazon Locker…but that’s specific to one location, specific to amazon packages, and you have to pick up packages within 3 days. So that’s why I didn’t include it. In my opinion, it doesn’t really suit a nomadic lifestyle
Do you still live in a car? Is it by choice? I might sound crazy but you can never actually own a car or a home, even if they are both paid for you still have to pay for them. I don’t think I want a home now that I know ill have to work till I die to live in it.
