Walmart has become famous for not answering their phones. It’s ridiculous. So much for decent customer service. There was a time, years ago, when it was a great place for that. Like everything else, cheapened up and lower quality.

I’m in Pooler Georgia, just outside Savannah. Usually the rural areas are much cheaper to live. Don’t think you can find anyplace near a city for under 1k a month unless it’s a bad neighborhood. Just my 2 cents.🙂

my son just moved actually bought a house in agusta, Ga. it has a lot of retired people there. the beach is close and the mountain are close they do have camp grounds there also
As much as your travel in the van, I’m shocked that you were more worried about level parking than pulling straight in, instead of parking so you can leave quick if you feel in danger.
Augusta has a huge golf tournament each year called The Masters.
FYI Walmart has a policy not to provide in store customer service or answer the phone 😏Its how they keep prices nice and low 😂

I bought a atlas map book at cracker barrel which shows all their restaurants in the U.S. great map book. I too have only had one incident at cracker barrel and it to was in my home town. I believe that planet fitness will let you park outside and use their showers and they’re very reasonable and friendly to people living in vehicles
Try hospital parking lots, or churches. I personally hate city parking. I like blm, but thats not always available.
…p.s. I listen to several different noise apps for sleep aid and they really help. Currently i listen to Crickets and other Summer sounds. I have to listen to something that drowns out noises. White noise sound is ok but I prefer the nature sounds.
There is a list… online of what Walmarts allow it. In general most of the time if it is a ok when it is a freestanding Walmart. Look for signs… if you don’t see a sign that says no overnight. Go for it.
Wish I would seen your earlier video. You rolled through my town. You could have just parked on my street and wake and go for a walk in the park. Nice bathrooms out there as well. For security, do you wrap your seatbelts through the door handle and then clip them in? If not, should definitely start doing that.

Has anyone tried overnighting in the parking lot of hospitals? Often there are people who want to be close to the hospital when a loved one is hospitalized and they can’t stay in a room with them. Sometimes they bring vans, camper size, to stay in rather drive the distance back home or stay in a hotel.
