Wow! I’ve been looking at IKEA furniture and was thinking about the exact same set of couches and arm chairs! Seeing the same layout totally helped me make a final decision! I love them!
I was one to do stuff like this on my own without help too, even back in my teenage years living in my parents home. I would move furniture around the room on my own. Then, I became physically disabled. I had a “failed” spinal fusion surgery in 2014. I am now 42 and need a wheelchair outside of my home.
Just a bit of advice to anyone reading this, please don’t overdo/lift/move furniture; carry children who are too heavy for you to carry on your own. I did things like that for years and years. But, you do what you need to do at the time… Now, I am unable to do so many things. Don’t take your body for granted, I did.

This looks absolutely lovely! I do have a quick question for you. What color did you select for your couches? In the video they look like a light grey, but when I went online to Ikea, they only have a really dark grey, white, and a beige. I am in love with the color of your couches and was just wondering the exact color you got.

Okay so my idea for this room would be to put the big rug nearer to the fireplace then put the sofa opposite the fireplace but on the edge of the rug a chair either side of the fireplace coffee table in centre of all them so it feels cosy then the white unit by the window if put where the chair was against the wall and put some kind of accessory picture frame the lamp she put in the corner I kind of like where it is anyway that’s my vibes just by watching the whole thing 🙂

I feel like everything is just a tad too far away from the fire place and too close to the walls . It should br the focus of the room therefore the surrounding furniture should be closer ie the fireplace. Just my opinion tho!
