I started the van life one week ago. I went from tent life to van life. Here is the official walk through video of my Dodge Caravan Sport 2002 “finished” (so far).

So many thoughtful touches! A number of techniques that I have not seen. I like the sleeping bag storage. A rug cut in half. drying mat for dishes. Strap to partially close rear gate and the hooks and bungie combination. Well done, my friend. I got a lot of ideas from your setup and video. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your studies!!

Such a nice, organized set up.
It makes so much sense not to have excessive carpentry which takes up space and adds weight.

I, too, have a Dodge Grand Caravan. I’ve probably looked at 100 videos with 100 different floor plans, and yours is BY FAR the best. Having the narrow walkway is brilliant! I might skip the built-in sink….not sure yet. I also might add a pull-out counter/table top from the shelves on the left side so I could sit on the bed and work/eat on the table. You really use every bit of space, and it is all accessible without having to dig out a lot of stuff to get to anything in the back. If you connect the sink, will you have an easily-removed access door from outside? Thank you so much….this absolutely is the plan I will use.

I’ve watched ton of videos on set ups and this one by far is one of the best for being on somewhat of a small budget simple build. I have a 2003 Honda Odyssey I’m planning on working on my set up come June and hit the road for a little while! Thanks for sharing!

Nice build out. I had something similar in mind. I think I would put the passenger seat on a swivel to open the space up some more and make for a nice lounging area that isn’t the bed (nice to let material air out a bit)
