••• A LITTLE ABOUT ME •••
At the end of 2018, my husband and I quit our jobs, sold our yoga studio and 90% of our possessions and moved into our 1969 VW bus. We spent 18 months traveling the globe exploring, rock climbing, adventuring and eating delicious vegan food along the way. We recently settled in Joshua Tree, CA with our pup Gypsy, and have been adjusting to a minimalist life in a house.

Hello Rebecca…I’m Dani. Glad I found your videos, very helpful. I had to go back and watch the shaving of the dreads and I was wondering how long you actually had dreadlocks? I liked you with them, but I think you are beautiful without too. I’m trying to simplify and use more sustainable items and habits, so again…thanks for sharing.

  15. Lilly Golubovic on May 22, 2021 at 3:40 am

I bought 6 months ago inexpensive Made by Design bath towels from Target that have hanging loops and they come in nice colors. They also hold up very well.

  16. blubb blubb on May 22, 2021 at 3:41 am

I started using a cloth peg with a small rope on it and clip it onto the towel 🙂 That way I can hang any towel, even if it doesn’t have a hanger (any more).

    I love your videos

  27. Daniela Grams on May 22, 2021 at 3:58 am

You can sew a piece of fabric or ribbon on your towels to hang them. It should just take a couple of minutes sewing by hand

  28. Tinka Swinkels on May 22, 2021 at 4:01 am

Cant you sew something on the towels? Or ask someone who can do it for you? So you can choose de towels you like

  29. Amber Manning on May 22, 2021 at 4:05 am

I love your towels what size did you get?

  30. #blacklives matter on May 22, 2021 at 4:05 am

Turn the trash bag n u won’t see the lil chip. Im the same with the tooth brush

  31. Rosemary Williams on May 22, 2021 at 4:06 am

I wonder, how often do you have to do loundry? I love having lot’s of cotton towels and wash clothes.

  32. Valentina B on May 22, 2021 at 4:06 am

Hey Rebecca, I really love the aesthetics of your bathroom, and being some minimalistic I find it so calming. Regarding the toothpaste tube, if you check the little flat lip at the bottom it should have a bb date.

I hope very much that you’ll create an Amazon store front. I know there is some stink on Amazon, however it’s an amazing resource for those whom live in food deserts and places that don’t have access to sustainable resources. You can even contact them to have all your packages packed responsibly without plastic.

  34. Rebecca Taylor on May 22, 2021 at 4:09 am

Pretty sure Dr Bronner’s uses palm oil ? 😢🌴

  35. Ellen Lima on May 22, 2021 at 4:10 am

About your shampoo bar: you should cut it up in 3 or 4 pieces, store the ones you are not using, keep the one you are using in a dry space – since you wash your hair twice a month.

  36. Reily Chaco on May 22, 2021 at 4:10 am

I want to live a more minimalist life but I feel like throwing away all my extra stuff just creates the waste that I want to avoid :/
    Anyone else feel this way?

  37. Sarah Thatcher on May 22, 2021 at 4:10 am

    The headband looks great!

  38. Willa richardson on May 22, 2021 at 4:11 am

I just found out recently that Dr. Bronner’s has palm oil in them.
In case you don’t know why this is a big deal, rain forests are deforested for palm oil plantations, including orangutan habitat.

Orangutans are on the "Critically Endangered" list.
Deforestation is also the cause of over 10% of global warming.

If there is ANY way to reduce your palm oil consumption, PLEASE DO!!!

    Soooo inspiring!!

  40. Magdalena Hernandez on May 22, 2021 at 4:12 am

Your channel is so cool! I love your energy and take on the whole thing. Excited to have found you and be subscribed!!

  41. Christina Ray on May 22, 2021 at 4:14 am

This was so inspiring to me. I’ve been searching for ways to add MORE storage to my small bathroom to try and fit everything AND have it look clean and uncluttered. I really need to pare down my stuff. Granted, we have 9 people living here and that makes it hard to be super minimal (because even a minimal amount for 9 people still adds up to a lot), but this gave me lots of great ideas. Thank you!

  42. Ashwood on May 22, 2021 at 4:14 am

Where did you get your trash can? I love it.

  43. Kristi Bruce on May 22, 2021 at 4:15 am

I’m new here and loving your videos. I also love the outtakes 😂.

  45. The Ksheedz on May 22, 2021 at 4:18 am

Use a hammer to un-dent the trash can

  46. Carmen David on May 22, 2021 at 4:19 am

So where did you get the shower curtain? I messed you on Instagram. But doesn’t seem to be active. Please help:))))

  47. Sarah Thatcher on May 22, 2021 at 4:23 am

Do you not use bidet clothes? Where do you keep them ( clean ones) and keep them before they are washed ( used ones)? If you haven’t done a video on it I would be interested in the logistics of exactly how they whole process works.

  48. Monika Knight on May 22, 2021 at 4:25 am

Please let me know where did you get your razor?

  49. Michelle Abrahmz on May 22, 2021 at 4:25 am

Towels, you can sew a loop onto any towels. Use narrow grosgrain ribbon.
Trash bin: can you pull the wood bit up from the undamaged end and then slide it out of the dented area?
Put the lid on the toilet down before you flush.
