I am making a Point less Wonder Quilt. When the pattern instructions say to lay out the 12×14 pieces, and cut angles; Which are going to get sewn together to go a star…I dont get it!

My favorite quilt is purple… all purple ,but i haven’t made it yet lol I will be using all my purple scraps form all the purple clothes I’ve made. I love that sewing machine quilt!

I love making quilts with panels. It’s a quick and easy way to do quilts. I recently madw one for my 3 yr old grandson with Jeep pillow panels…he LOVES cars and especially Jeeps.

I chuckled a bit when you said "start with a potholder." I’m a 79 year old grandpa, and just finished my first quilt. A Queen size base on Churn Dash. Is it perfect? Nope. Will it keep us warm next winter? I hope so! Now I’m going to make a bunch of pot holders! Stay safe and well!
