NEVER TOO SMALL Hong Kong Walk-Up Tiny Apartment – 25sqm/269sqft
Architects and interior designers PMDL Architecture + Design have recently completed a renovation of a 1960s five storey walk-up building on one of Hong Kong Island’s busiest thoroughfares. The building consists of five apartments above retail at ground level. Each apartment, with an area of 25m2, is designed around a service wall which implies a subdivision of the apartment while not minimising sense of space. http://www.pmdl.com.au/

Sustainable?? Are you f* serious??Who TF can afford that in HK?? Only the riches can afford this BS, many of Hongkongs residents live in subdivided apartment and coffin homes. Because of such luxury developers the city is bleeding out and making the locals lives unbearable. Extreme perverted Gentrification (on steroids) at its best. Disgusting!
nothing better than living in a cupboard, but also sleeping in a cupboard in the cupboard
Where are the grills for safety purpose on windows from theft
Impressive design!
Hong Kong houses are really small, but you renovated it until so nice & cozy, looking great👍🏼 though scenery not very appealing😅 If me, I would preferred curtain to be down the whole time😂🤣🤪
Still it cannot disguise the fact that this is a small apartment . It’s ok for a single person to live in.
so this will be my inspiration for my 25sqm condo!!!
Wow! This is amazing.. It’s like magic!
2:10 glassdoor with curtain
Love this.
this is kinda… "not" small
How does this look so big and spacious despite being actually pretty small ? There is no weird folding stuff too
I love the layout 👍 ❤️
This is a beautiful and modern building standing in the crowded and old fashion hong kong buildings
This was brilliant. PMDL earned their brownie points on this one. I bow to them.
what is the music, please?
woooow
How much it would cost to build such space? any idea
That sliding glass door to the bedroom should help a lot with sound reduction of noise from the street. Could be nice and cozy in there.
wow ….. beautiful work .
👍👍amazing
Great design. No curtains, no pull down beds, no creating dining/sleeping space for guests(??) in a 25sqm
This is very nice
Wow. I love this. Especially because it has a washer/dryer combo in a small space.
Yeah! Perfect for the joke "You Will Own Nothing and Be Happy" ~ the architect must have been a shoe-in for the WEC One World Government where in the end you "won’t even be here" ~ ha ha ha. So it is if you keep along these lines like this architect gets paid for. Ha Ha Ha
I could easily live in this space for the rest of my life. At 56 I have really downsized and just don’t need all the extra room. With technology(smart home) it can become extremely comfortable and cool!
Good for single person
Can’t imagine here myself with my toddler
How expensive is the Rent?
this is big and luxury apartment in jakarta
Please do more videos specifically on Hong Kong apartments. I’m fascinated with the urban design of how vertical Hong Kong is and how small the living spaces are.
Очень красиво! Дизайнер очень хорошо выполнил свою работу, грамотно сместив акценты на достоинства и отвлек внимание от недостатков
Stunning design the best I have seen with this footprint size.
I dont think its tiny.. its functional.. and having a balcony is 🍒 on top
One of the best floor designs I have seen on this Channel. 👍
How much is the price per unit?
Koszmarny widok z balkonu!
I can never
This is absolutely gorgeous! I’d be very happy to live in this space.
What scents keep bed bugs away?
Just a question regarding the bathroom sink pipes .. how do you run them with the washing machine below it so close?
I lived in Hong Kong 9 years and changed 5 different apartments. The living space in the city is incredible small and the prices are crazy. This is a smart way to include natural light and feel cozy, even in such a small area.
Good job!
I bumped into this video while searching actual size of a bachelor unit. So glad I did bc I got good ideas in what furniture would be most suitable in a small space that also makes it to feel cozy.
What a beautifully designed space 💛
The apartment is very nice, but I miss indoor plants. If you look out of the window, you don`t see any nature either.
I left Hong Kong in 1980 and have never been back. It means nothing to me now.
🤩🤩👏👏👍👍💪💪
The view makes me wanna throw up on the pedestrians below.🤣
Absolutely stunning!!
😍✌️🇧🇷
