Love the floors! Though the beige is really nice I am more partial to the darker rug, only because it does anchor your room. It doesn’t have to be the black one you already have down though I really love the look, you might want to try a different neutral. I guess it depends on the look you are going for. What ever you choose I know it will be the right choice because you have a great styling instinct.
I like the black rug, it grounds the space and compliments the other black pieces in the room.

The floors are beautiful. Great color. I like the contrast of the rug but I do like tone on tone. My grandmother always changed her rugs seasonally.
So maybe 🤔 go with tonal for spring/ summer and dark for fall/ winter. I always loved her summer rugs. They would be sometimes seagrass or jute. She was obsessed with area rugs. Iam thinking of changing seasonally (2x a year spring /summer then fall//winter). She literally changed them for each season. 😳lol God Bless her. No matter what you choose it will look gorgeous…as it always does. 😁

I absolutely LOVE it! The tones go so well with everything else in your home and it makes it look so much more spacious! It’s gonna be fun to mop now lol! I love that shade. What color is it called? Maybe I can talk my husband into new flooring lol.

The floors look great!! I think you should keep the rug , it grounds the space. If something needs to change , I would say it’s the leather couch for me. Other than that I think it looks amazing 🤩. TYFS
I’d keep the black rug to balance it all out… to much light with too few black bits. The rug brings it together. Looks great! Kudos to your husband for doing all these projects. 💜

I like the dark area rug, helps to add in a touch of dark/black without over powering. So happy for you that the floors are done, big project complete!
How about a jute area rug…just a thought. I was looking on Pinterest and they look so good! Not sure how practical they are or how cozy they are?

DON’T GO WITH THE BEIGE RUG BECAUSE IT WILL JUST BLEND INTO THE COLOR OF THE FLOOR. I WOULD LOOK FOR ANOTHER RUG WITH SOME CONTRAST.

The kitchen transformation is night and day. The flooring is beautiful and really lightened up the space. Just lovely! Personally, I’d like a lighter rug with some green accents in it but they seem to be hard to find for me anyway. Great job.

I love how the black anchors the room, but I do love the other rug too. So I guess I’m no help LoL 😂😆 in the end it’s really up to you what are you drawn to? I’m such a visual person I would have to see the rug laid on the floor the new one to see how I liked it. If you can send it back I would try the new one too. 😊👍
